I'm just curious what has been, or what will be, your wait time (based on your build date) when you finally take delivery of your 2025 Ford Maverick?

I'll go first:

2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD 4K Eruption Green

Ordered confirmation from Ford:
16 Dec. 2024
Build date: 12 May 2025
Guessed delivery: Early-mid June (dealership in Utah)

I feel like 6 months is ridiculous, but I'm curious what everyone else's experience has been.
I ordered an XL hybrid AWD on 12/4/2024 and still don’t have a VIN or any further info. Have been in constant contact with the dealer and Ford CS. Reached out this morning to cancel—at this rate I would be surprised to see it by July or August—they initially thought I’d have it 1st quarter 2025.

2025 Ford Maverick Lariat Hybrid AWD 4K Desert Sand

Ordered confirmation from Ford:
03/03/2025
Build date: 4/26/2025
Estimaged delivery: 05/26/2025-06/01/2025 (to Iowa)

Delivery date is the estimate in the Ford Order Tracking site. I'm curious to hear how accurate people have found that to be.
usually about a week from the estimated delivery

Some of these car salespeople will tell you what you want to hear to make the deal - hopefully you didn’t reward this dealership with a different purchase

Math is my kryptonite.
Became more accurate as time went by.

3 months exactly
Three months is nearly the best case scenario here's why:

Scheduling is done a month in advance, unless order is timed perfectly, add a month https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/f...4-17-25-for-production-weeks-5-15-6-16.64935/
When during the month a given truck is built: anyone's guess: add a month
Shipping is a one month or more unless lucky enough to get shipped by truck instead of rail. (probability of truck shipping declines with more distance from the plant)
Any supply chain problems or high order volume adds an undetermined amount of months. Supply chain impact is more likely with lower volume and high demand XL trim.

I know this posting is only for the 2025 model year, but here's some perspective on what life was like for your ancestors. I was very lucky in that (1) my dealership was able to submit my order the day the order banks opened despite how Ford's servers were crashing from the overload, and (2) they elevated me to their highest priority. It could easily have been much longer!

Ford Maverick What was/is your wait time for your order? Days

Whenever I see this, I think of the film 500 Days of Summer. 🤪

I live in southern New Mexico, not far from El Paso TX. Shorter distance from the factory may be a factor...
