That's how my dealer is. Absolutely refuses to answer what their allocation is and how many total orders they have. I told them to call me the minute the order banks opened up (hadn't found this forum yet). He called me the 16th about 1:00 and said they were open. I was literally three blocks away leaving another store so I was there in three minutes. While I was ordering I thought I heard him slip up and say they already had 120 orders before me but wouldn't say that again. He may have just been doing the typical salesman BS of overstating things to make you feel like you need to order quick. Who knows.Don't forget allocations. If the dealer doesn't have allocations, no truck.
That happened to me with my first order on October 12 2021. Some dealers won't tell you if they do or don't have allocations.
Also my first dealer was sold on the first day of the October order bank opening.
I found another dealer fast that day that gave me all the right answers when I asked.
My 23 Maverick hybrid is on the assembly line right now.
