I don't think priorityreally means much. I had two orders in, one for me one for my father. Two different dealerships placed at the same time though. His order was priority ten, mine was nineteen. Mine was scheduled for production two weeks after placing the order in January, his just got built. From what I understand anything ten to nineteen is good.
After waiting and reading here for well over a year it comes down to mainly dealer allocations and then parts constraints. Doesn't look like it matters if you ordered last year and then rolled over or just put in your first order during the open order bank this past September '23.

I agree. The first dealer I ordered from finally admitted that they had no allocations to me after 11 months. I had an order, got emails and talked to Ford customer service and verified the order. That's why I changed dealers. I asked up front if they had allocations and sales manager told me 7. Placed order and it's in production right now. The first order in never got a vin.

Ford has built vehicles for at least 1 or 2 years now. You would think they had the supply chain figured out by now. Maybe embrace a new concept called back-up.

We ordered 2 hybrids on the first day of orders in September. Other than a email from Ford acknowledging the order, not a peep from Ford. Dealer has no idea, and in fact says it may never be built in spite of being a first day order. This is getting to be worse than 2022 production.
If your order is anything like mine, you probably won't be getting any emails. All of the info I have received is from Ford CS chat. That's how I got my VIN, Production week, Build day, and Estimated delivery date. The paper(s) you signed at the dealer will have an "order code" and "sales code" on them. Ford CS chat will need those 2 numbers to give you any further info. I assure you your dealer also has access to all of this information, but majority of them aren't going to go out of their way to find it for you because they know this stuff can change 100 times between now and delivery day + they've probably got 200 other customers asking them for the same stuff on a regular basis.

Got my order in before noon on the 16th - my appt the previous evening was moved due to their order bank not working, at least for dealers in the Eastern time zone during business hours.

I believe I was the 7th Maverick order my dealer had. They told me all new 2023 orders were coded 19 by them. My concern is I am A-plan, so not a high profit order for the dealer. So I might be at the "bottom" of the list.

I will say I'm buying something by the end of next summer. I'll have a sit-down with my dealer in early spring see where I am in their allocations. If from that meeting it appears Ford cannot build a Maverick, I might keep my order, but I'll start looking for something else. (But let's be optimistic).

I ordered a 2022 hybrid on 10/9/2021...it was eventually cancelled. My cancelled 2022 was transitioned to a 2023 and I confirmed my order on 11/17/2022. I am still sitting at priority 2 with no VIN or production week. It's been 422 days and still have no clue when I'll get my truck.

I will say the issue for me appears to be dealer allocations unfortunately. However, they will not tell me their allocation numbers or where I sit in terms of the cancelled orders at their dealership. Very frustrating.

Also by 24 a lightening shouldn't be too much more than $100K (entry trim that is).
it would be a cold day in the underworld before I would ever pay that kind of money for a light duty range limited pickup.

My original Hybrid XLT order was on 11/14/2021. It was never built, and rolled over into a model year 2023 order in September. My dealer put me on a high priority and my order was scheduled recently to be built in mid December.

I'm the same except I DID get a production week, Jan 02, and a VIN. Perhaps the allocation thing that everyone is talking about is a MAJOR factor in scheduling. My dealership is mid size that I ordered from. I see folks on this forum that ordered AFTER me and have already received their vehicles or is currently in production while others like you hasn't received anything or very little.

I think the allocation system is the primary aspect of how they schedule. It's definitely tough to see some people who ordered 3 months ago with my exact same build already be scheduled for production or built and here I am 14+ months with no truck. I am happy for them certainly, but just disappointed in the process.
