I’ll start:
This is my 2011 Ford Fusion. Bought it about a year and half ago when I had to offload an absolute dog of a 2012 Honda Accord Sport (bought it with 82k miles and put 4 grand in repairs over the course of two years).
Found the Fusion at a local car lot with only 66k miles by the original owner and in near-showroom condition. Almost certainly an elderly person’s car based on mileage and some of the music selection I found in the glove box and CD player
Gave it a good wash and clean out today:
Decided not to trade it in for the Mav. Given supply chain issues, I felt like it was more valuable to keep as a backup vehicle for me, my wife, and my family than it was for the few thousand bucks the dealership would have given me.
Slowest car I’ve ever owned, but somehow I’ve gotten attached to the thing. I love when a “normal” car is kept in really good condition for years so I’m gonna hold onto this one and take it for a spin every couple of weeks or so. Maybe keep it nice for the next ten years and let it be my now-five-year-old son’s first car
My wife also drives a 2016 Mazda CX-9 that we bought used from CarMax for $25,000 a couple of years ago. Grand Touring, 56K miles, loaded, and that gorgeous red. I thought that was a lot of money back then; I felt like we stole it now with used car prices the way they are.
So what else do you drive?
