Yeah, I haven't see one in person, but in pics , I 'm not a fan of that new front.
Probably cheaper than the original, larger lighted area.
Might "help" aerodynamically, but I really like the original front end much better.
Glad I bought a 2024, much better look.

Yes, 2025 Maverick front bumper haters please move on. This endless constant harping of the front end is annoying to many. Perhaps the real reason for all the hate is the styling change will make pre 2025 models look dated.
Id rather look dated, sorry 😞

I see no reason to switch to a 2025. I like the looks of my '23 XLT and I know how to back up a trailer.

Those fog lights look awesome and factory. I have to install mine soon on my Alto blue Lariat.

Can't say I like it but I'm not as bothered as many seem to be. I'm reserving my final judgement until I get mine and see it in person, then if it really bothers me I'll see about modding or otherwise disguising it.

Looks OK to me. I ordered up a '25.

Like others have mentioned, could be a nice place for some auxiliary lighting.

Hopefully @Diode Dynamics or @MABETT is working on something. PLEASE.

Looks like Ford wanted to cut corners here by giving 2925 owners less LED front lights and covering it with a PC of plastic. Either way, NOT a fan of the look at all. Only real good thing about the 2025 is the AWD hybrid option for those who live in winter climates and/or want the 4K towing pkg.

I'm pretty sure the design team had to run this past quite a few people and maybe even got some public opinions before it was set in stone. They sure as heck didn't ask any of the haters here, that's for sure.:ROFLMAO:

I seriously can't believe Ford would ruin a Top Selling truck by putting out an extremely cheap looking flap. It looks like a glued on piece of cheap plastic.
Ford could had made a more aggressive front, headlights on top, fog lights under, a 1" or more body lift or 2". Otherwise leave it alone!!!

The only thing constant is change. Sometimes the changes work for you, other times they don't.

103 posts. I am beginning to think this really bothers some Maverick owners and if they really hate it then they may not buy a 25 which makes my order get in production sooner. Reminds me of the early days with orange accents, cubby, rotary shifter and full size vs same size spare.. :)

I had a 2024 on order, when the 2025 was "leaked" I thought the front end was hideous and that alone was enough for me to keep my 2024 order regardless of how much tech was gonna be in it.

When the 2025 was officially announced to have hybrid/awd and 4k tow with the upgraded transmission, that was the deciding factor to move over to the 2025 model.

But that being said I'm still mad about the front end being as ugly as it is, I just figure I'll be spending more time inside it than out.

Must have got those opinions from GM owners....never should have gotten past mgmt for approval. No need to change the front end...AWD hydrid? Yes, New infotainment options..Yes! Mess the front end up? NO! The headlights are fine...its that ugly flap.
I bet Ford corrects this sooner than later...hopefully with the 2026 model.
