Can't you just subscribe to Apple Music and stream that stuff? Depends on how eclectic your tastes are, but still.

I need a CD player Installed somewhere. Yeah, I have hundreds of CDs. I could also use a tape player as well.

Looking to buy some man child toys :) Any tips for "must have" accessories for the Hybrid XLT? Open to any suggestions for interior and exterior upgrades.

Thanks!
SIBL, rear seat power outlet, manual rear window, towing hitch, buy a cubby hole bin for left side.

The less you use the hitch; the more you would want a cover to protect it. If left exposed the hitch will be a rust haven from non use. Instead of using a cover. Have you considered any of these options: bike rack, cargo box, wheelchair, or step?

You should absolutely not leave anything in your hitch if not being used. Leaving something in it will only trap moisture and if you leave anything metallic even worse. its a sure fire way end up needing to cut off a hitch pin and rust out a receiver, especially in locations with winters.

I do have a bunch loaded on my phone via Double Twist, but frankly, I don't have the time to download 800 cd's onto an MP3. My guess is I will probably just go on to some online radio stations like deliciousagony.com or Youtube as well as Pandora.
This is why I listen to internet radio. Let the pros do the selecting.

All weather floor mats and some sort of bedliner or even the bed mat if you're on a budget.

If you're over 180lbs, seat covers will help in the long run with wear and tear on the seats. If you live in a hot climate, the custom windshield sun shade.

Rip them for crying out loud. Use Exact Audio Copy and rip those CDs into lossless flac files and load them onto your phone or onto your sd card if your phone supports that. I don't know what you can do with your cassettes though, I think it's time to throw in the towel on those and try to find the albums on digital or buy the CDs and rip them if you want the added quality.

My taste in music is way too specific. I've tried those streaming music things and I find myself skipping like 80% of the songs they suggest, and that's after I've already spent a lot of time liking the songs I like hoping it'll eventually learn my taste, but they never do. Plus the quality is shit compared to CDs. But I know most people won't be able to tell, and these crappy speakers in the Maverick won't be able to distinguish either, lol.

Man you only get the equivalent of $210 for getting a maverick
I've since gotten the Fordpass credit card and will use for down payment ($3000 = 30,000 points + 11,000 pts for 1st use. Also get a $ 100 statement credit)

Do I absolutely NEED a hitch cover?

I am never going to tow and that will never get used, but do I really have to put a cover on it? 🤷🏻‍♂️
You can buy one for about $5 from Walmart. It will keep the water out and prevent rust!

I know. I had a porsche and had my independent mechanic swap the steering wheel. He did it in less than 10 minutes while he had his phone on his ear. My only concern is the warranty, therefore I dont want to do it myself.
I had the GT3 steering wheel applied to my Boxster, one of the best changes I did for my Boxster.

I have a dashcam installed

Tint is coming (front windshield and front doors)
New Rearview mirror with Homelink
Wireless carplay adapter (also looking for wireless charger (combo))
Different Floor mats.

Thinking of getting the front and read numbers painted to match the color of the truck (cyber Orange)

Thanks for the info. I've also checked on the ACM but didn't want to spend the kind of money necessary to replace it, nor the APIM since none of it has been confirmed. I asked the vendor on Amazon if they needed to program in SiriusXM to enable the feature. They said yes, and they needed my VIN. Their positive response was a little too easy for me, so I'll wait and let someone else confirm either replacing the ACM or APIM, or both.

If the Commander Touch works as advertised, I'll be happy with it. The screen is small, but it is bright and easily read. We'll see.

The ACM is easy to get to. The trim that surrounds the center dash vent and the AC controls easily pops off. Of course you have to remove the ACM to get to the APIM.

I had more trouble getting the bin behind the 8" screen off, then discovered that I didn't need to.

Anyway, I'll be posting my results later this week and keep looking for concrete answers for upgrading. Thanks for your efforts. Everything helps.
Check the folks at FLVP Mods.com. They did the NAV upgrade to my 2015 Cmax and they also sell APIMS.
