If you haven't ordered it with floor liners, that's a start. Then if you were like me and dropped off the spray-in Bedliner and tonneau cover to help get your truck quicker, they would be a no brainer if you want them. I have WeatherTech floor liners sitting here waiting for my truck to be delivered . ;) And I've already ordered a tonneau cover.
I ordered these very things aftermarket. Also added a stubby antenna because I live in the Land of Low Parking Garage Ceilings.

Ratcheting cargo bar is a must. I’ve used the same one for my last three trucks. Harbor Freight or Amazon

This is the bag I bought for behind the rear seat:
https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-...lts/12-in-tool-bag-with-21-pockets-61467.html
And this is the bag for under the rear seats:
https://www.harborfreight.com/tool-...lts/15-in-tool-bag-with-14-pockets-61469.html

Both fit perfectly in their spots. I just need to find the right toys to fill them up. I already have a multi tip screwdriver, Flashlight and Multi tool pliers in the bigger bag, more to come.
Perfect! Thanks!

I like this idea. I may purchase after I get my truck.

Going to use my Fordpass points I get for my Lariat lux
FE for Floor mats, window deflectors, tailgate assist and lock, mudflaps and maybe hood deflector. Also thinking about a dashcam (front ant rear)
Found a huge bargain and got the floorliners, tailgate letters window vent deflectors and front & rear mudflaps all Ford accessories for $50. Made out like a bandit.
Also have an AVS bugdeflector II hood deflector, Refined Truck grill light bar and cubby box and a hitch bumpstep w/LED lights waiting to be installed.
Still need to get the tailgate assist and lock.
Think my FE Rapid Red truck will look great when it finally gets here (in production now).

I need a CD player Installed somewhere. Yeah, I have hundreds of CDs. I could also use a tape player as well.
'Same here.
I'd love to hear any suggestions regarding CD-player adaptations. Might it be feasible to somehow plug a portable into the Mav's existing speakers???

Google is your friend. There are lots of portable CD players offered that will play and power through your USB port.

Thanks for the question, you have a great point.

In past posts, I gave the reason, and it's simply that I do not have a smart phone.

Before retirement I used an iPhone because I traveled extensively and it gave me great communication with my home office, clients, bosses, and employees. After retirement and since I live in the deep piney woods of East Texas rural area on a lake that doesn't have good cell service. On a good day I might get a 1 bar signal if I walk down by the dock on the lake. So I use a flip phone which receives better than my wife's iPhone. The only way my wife can use her iPhone at home is through our satellite internet provider over our home Wifi. In the surrounding area the cell service is governed by a local provider that doesn't play well with others. That's one reason we still use a land line at home.

Don't get me wrong, if our cell service was stable in this East Texas rural area, I would be using an iPhone, and obviously, Ford counted on this being the case in deciding what features to include on the XL and XLT Radios.

Again, thanks for giving us a great point.
Ive been working on a way to add sirius to the truck without having to use my phone. I dont want to have to take my eyes off the road to change channels with Sirius and its impossible if you use your phone.

Im not 100% sure if the APIM needs to be replaced just yet but speaking with the guys at infotainment they said I would just need the ACM which is this one here.

https://www.infotainment.com/produc...it-for-4-to-8-upgrades?variant=12213489139748

They said that the radio wont ship with a cd player and the ACM will be based on the VIN. I asked them if the APIM needs to be replaced so that SIrius is enabled and they said no but I'd take that with a grain of salt. If the APIM needs to be replaced the only capatible one I could find less than $1k is this one which you can search amazon with the ASIN B09NN74M97

Both of these should be programmed and be plug and play but getting to them is a pain since you have to get into the dash

Thanks for the info. I've also checked on the ACM but didn't want to spend the kind of money necessary to replace it, nor the APIM since none of it has been confirmed. I asked the vendor on Amazon if they needed to program in SiriusXM to enable the feature. They said yes, and they needed my VIN. Their positive response was a little too easy for me, so I'll wait and let someone else confirm either replacing the ACM or APIM, or both.

If the Commander Touch works as advertised, I'll be happy with it. The screen is small, but it is bright and easily read. We'll see.

The ACM is easy to get to. The trim that surrounds the center dash vent and the AC controls easily pops off. Of course you have to remove the ACM to get to the APIM.

I had more trouble getting the bin behind the 8" screen off, then discovered that I didn't need to.

Anyway, I'll be posting my results later this week and keep looking for concrete answers for upgrading. Thanks for your efforts. Everything helps.
