Hey folks, today I check the status tracker of my Maverick. Excitement is building and I can't wait.

anyone else have their order "in production" status?

I see many bronco and bronco sport in and around Bellingham but no Maverick.
I agree! But I was pleasantly surprised to see this beaut after my bike ride -

I still have not seen one in person.
and am losing faith that I will see it before 2025.
Also considering walking away from my order.

There was one at the Olympia Mullinax Ford dealer the other night for sale with 400 miles on it. Guy decided to go with a Ranger instead lol. I've seen three others around the wild in town here. I haven't seen Naranjita's yet though and I'm surprised because I pass by their area three times a week :p

Wondering if anyone has ordered form Korum, looking at options Kind of liking the Corsair(base) not too much more that the Maverick (around 400 a month for 36 after down payment) and a bit higher grade of materials.
Just looking, no real decisions are being made yet.
Please don't kill me. :cautious::)

Driving through the City in a few minutes. Just waiting to pick up my daughter at work out at Black Lake. I parked next to a Velocity Blue Maverick the other day at Harbor Freight Tools while I ate my lunch. I had 5 people stop to talk. Seeing 2 side by side Mavericks was catching people's attention.

I like the Corsair. Especially with the blue or gray interior. I do not like the tan interior though for some reason. Black is a little one note, but OK. But the Corsair interior is a love it or hate it kinda thing, due to the vents.

I generally do not like gray interiors, but the two tone gray black works really well with that interior design. But if I went Corsair, I'd definitely want the Panoramic Roof.

Haha, nice! If you ever see a white Honda Civic tailing you, it might be me! Just sold my 05 Ranger in anticipation and my girlfriend let me use her old car so I can save some gas money for this new truck.

Got a little muddy this weekend with the new tires. 😎

Now you have to post your thoughts on road noise, mpg, etc :)

I’ve been noticing even the stock tire size seems to spray a lot of water/mud up the sides and on the doors just on regular roads. I think the fenders/wheel well edges could have been a little more pronounced. Might be worth adding mud guards and some of the plastic add on trim pieces around the wheel wells so I don’t have to wash it every week. With wider tires I’m sure it’s worse.

I’m still debating between 235/70R17 and 245/70R17. Figure if I’m going big might as well go for it.

Stock tires look tiny but loving the 28-29 mpg right now.

Ah, I knew someone was gonna finally call me out on not doing a short review. 🤣

I wanted to do 245/70 but wasn't sure if the spare would fit, so I went 245/65 Toyos.

Here's what the 450 mile test looked like:
The day I got them put on, I headed out with a friend out to the coast from the Seattle area. I think it was about 450 miles total for the weekend, with about 50 miles on logging/forest service roads aired down to 25 psi, hilly climbs, mud, etc. Maverick handled like a champ and I went through a mud pit so deep that I ended up pulling water over the hood. Yeah. No joke. Lol. Not the best idea but no water got in my engine.

MPG:
There's definitely a hit compared to the Pirellis, but that's to be expected.

The 225/65 Pirellis are 25 lbs a pop, while the Toyos are 34 and have a more aggressive tread because they're ATs.

On the freeway, I'm seeing a 1-2 mpg hit.

Noise:
Not bad at all. There's a bit more of a drone but barely anything over the Pirellis. There's significantly less vibrations on rougher asphalt. There's also more of the road feel coming through the steering wheel.

Overall, I would say these are fantastic tires. I definitely don't hear as much noise as I thought I would and it's great to have them because I am one of those people that camps a lot even during the winter.

I definitely think I need mud flaps, but I just can't bring myself to spend like $140 on them yet. I also don't particularly like the look.

I think I saw this particular Maverick yesterday evening. Saw it going north on Woburn street between Alabama and Barkley. Had a modified headlight (top portion is brightly lit up).
Excitement builds on my part because mine is in production. Hoping to get it beginning of summer or late spring.
Cheers.
