Figured I would say hi. Ordered mine on Friday via Harris Ford in Lynnwood. Don't think I've seen anyone else mention that dealer in these 20 pages of posts. Now for the long wait..... Dealer emailed me today to confirm I got the email from Ford about the order. I inquired about how many they have seen come thru their dealership/if they felt they had a good "allocation" and they sort of avoided the question a bit and just said

"The average wait we've been seeing is between 4-6 months."
I ordered from Harris Ford too, I don’t see too many others on the forum that chose them. I keep seeing tons of listings/orders on the Ford inventory site for Evergreen Ford though.

I placed an order for an XL Hybrid in October with Harris. They keep telling me they won’t charge ADM or accessories and it looks like others have gotten for MSRP but I’d prefer something signed ideally. Not scheduled yet and I’ve been asking about their allotments and #of orders but they don’t seem to want to give me any figures either. Gonna try to go in-person this weekend, less likely to ignore vs. a text or email.

Looking forward to joining a group meetup sometime when I get mine in. I just moved to the Edmonds/Lynnwood area recently as well.

Let me know if you get any details/numbers out of them. I've got a long saga of trying to get answers to very basic questions over the last week or so...very little success. I'm in the same boat as you regarding wishing I had something in writing about ADM or "required upgrades" when I go to pay. I was commenting to my wife that I almost wish I had paid a deposit.....

Will do for sure. My salesman said the sales manager would be happy to speak with me if I want to stop by so I'll definitely go this weekend probably on Friday evening. He said since no VIN, he can't provide a purchase order but I'll just see if I can get something signed or at least some more info on #'s. I do have it in texts/emails they will MSRP without ADM or accessories. Also he said it would be $150 doc fee & 10.8% sales tax with registration/licensing estimated at ~$850 My main concern is that they aren't getting much for allocations which is why they're perhaps not wanting to share the info. I will say my salesman has been very nice & does respond within a day or two but he depends on the managers for info which is why he hasn't been able to provide more info so far.

Doc fees are capped at $150 in Washington. Definitely check the DOL site for registration and licensing fees. $850 seems high. Someone posted their numbers from Bowen Scarff earlier and I think it was in the $400s.

Thank you so much for the additional info, I thought I'd read somewhere that they were capped at $150 but I wasn't 100%. I'll be sure to check the DOL site too for registration. $850 did seem high for a ~$23k XL. Then again I think half the time they don't know more than I do. They won't give me a signed purchase order/agreement before a VIN but perhaps I can get them to sign something with some estimated #'s + agreeing not to do any add-ons. I'll have to find that post you mentioned too.

One thing I haven't had a chance yet to do is get an insurance quote. I'm hoping to maybe switch insurers to one that has new car replacement coverage as opposed to cash value.

Here's that Bowen Scarff post: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/western-washington.460/post-99587.

I have no idea if signing something is enough to keep shady dealers in line. I try to come ready to give a dealer hell if they try to take advantage. I pack snacks and have my laptop ready with a spreadsheet to double-check their math. I've had dealers try to sneak in add-ons in the contract and mess with money factor on leases / interest rates on loans.

Insurance for me was like $50 a month for full coverage with $500 deductible. Paid in full for 6 months. Lot cheaper than I was expecting.

Mike, the sales manager at Harris, was great. I was their first ordered Maverick to hit the lot. Dealerships just generally seem to be squirrelly about pricing, but mine was MSRP and he said they never mark up customer orders. It was super smooth and once I switched to just talking with Mike, communication got a lot better.

Sadly, I was rear ended tonight and it sustained some decent damage to the tailgate and bumper, so I might be waiting some time for it get fixed so you probably won’t see mine on the road for a bit again. The BMW suv sustained some serious damage though, so my Mav won that battle which is a minor consolation. I just changed over the FX4 stickers and was going to paint the emblems this weekend. 😭

Man, I am so sorry. That's depressing to hear. I have had more close calls since getting my Maverick than I can ever remember. It's not as if people can't see my bright Cyber Orange truck. Maybe I just think the incursions are more frequent because I'm so sensitive to my new rig?

I hope the body shop is able to source the parts quickly. Wishing you the best and thankful it was not worse!

Thanks so much Paul for taking the time to reply. I am so sorry to hear about you getting rear ended. I had that happen in my Mazda just over a year ago, it was actually my 1st accident ever in ~17 years of driving. I hope they're able to make it 100% for you & that the BMW has full insurance. I made the mistake of using mine initially to help with my claim instead of just going through theirs. That's great to hear it seems safe. I saw in a video review recently the reviewer was super impressed by how solid the doors sounded when closed so it seems structurally it's good.

I just stopped by tonight & my sales guy Mahdi was able to introduce me to Mike. I mentioned to Mike you had nothing but great things to say & he remembered you, he actually said he thought yours was the nicest one he'd seen so far. You're right, he was super knowledgeable & was able to confirm I was good in COVP & also gave me some more #'s as to where they are in terms of orders/where I am thankfully. I'm just so relieved they seem to honor MSRP after seeing so many horrible dealer experience stories on here.

Hope to see you & some of the others in the area sometime at a meetup or something. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone's customizations. Still haven't thought of what I'm doing for a cubby buddy lol.

Super helpful, thank you so much. Thankfully I was able to stop by in-person & speak with the dealership GSM to confirm MSRP on retail orders as well as where I'm at in their queue. Also confirm my COVP status like Tim Bartz said we should.

That's super low, is that your main vehicle or a 2nd/3rd? I think sometimes with the multi-car discounts it can really bring it down. I usually am very risk averse & over insure to at least 500/500.

I was able to stop by tonight & as another forum member - @TheBear mentioned, Mike the GSM was super helpful. My salesperson Mahdi has been awesome but I think only the GSM has access to some of the info. He was able to confirm that all their orders they submit through COVP & gave me a printout showing I was confirmed/approved status. I had seen Tim Bartz post that it's something to verify. I think they're somewhere roughly around ~250 Maverick orders in total & I think they said ~70 or something for hybrid if I recall correctly (I'm not 100%). He did mention their dealership is usually within top 5 or 10 every year for volume. When I mentioned the Ford inventory website was showing a lot from other dealers but not theirs, he said that it's because they don't post their retail orders to their website since they're technically not available unless an order holder cancels.

While I didn't get anything in writing since no VIN, I do believe they will honor MSRP and not add ADM/Accessories. I like that it's a local dealer & while they may not get as many allocations as the bigger dealers, at least they're nearby for future service/etc.

Did you order an ecoboost or hybrid? I know ecoboosts seem to schedule pretty quick. I'm a 10/1 hybrid order. I don't think they got a ton of early orders either so we may not be that far down the queue & he did say they've had a few September orders scheduled & most early ones have been scheduled I believe. I hope this info helps. He was super busy so I appreciated him taking the time to answer my questions.

Only vehicle. I own one other car but it's insured elsewhere since I'm about to sell it.
