Yep, that's an option. I have a great rate and filing a claim would change that. Unless the labor estimate comes back as something ridiculous, I’d rather handle this out of pocket or with lots of beers and food for a much more skilled friend.
Thanks @HeyBales! That was the preview I was hoping for and tells me this is more than I want to bite off as a DIYer. Hoping to find a local shop to help and avoid the stealership.
Puddle in the driveway. I got it onto my lift to take off the splash shield for a closer look. I saw steady drops.
Yea I was planning to do a temp fix with JB weld.
Winter storm road debris went through the splash shield. It's pretty small but was enough to go through the pan.
I sadly nicked the oil pan on my 2025 Ford Maverick AWD Hybrid, and it's leaking oil. I’m considering DIY. Has anyone tackled this yet? Would love to hear how it went.
Might be time to get a @RIVAL 4x4 skid plate...
Yea it's ARE's version of a bedliner called OTR. I liked this look because of what you said and helps with resale value if I ever decide to move on from it. It does cost extra but ARE was running a promo at the time I was ordering.
ARE has some rule about only using colors for your vehicle. So...
Great questions.
I did try to just roll with the 360 cameras. I drive in heavy traffic areas so the quick glance to the rear view mirror is helpful to make sure I can actually stop at a yellow or red light without getting rear ended. A bonus is having the map up the whole time when I'm driving...
Canopy: ARE V Series
I had a hard tonneau cover with my previous Maverick, but with passengers and longer trips, space gets tight. If I do need to haul something taller, I'm banking on the 360 cameras on my new Maverick to help me maneuver a utility trailer.
Why the ARE V Series Shell...
Switching to a canopy since I need a bit more covered storage.
$400 for OEM hard tonneau cover that came with my 2022 Ford Maverick. Should be the same as the BakFlip G2.

$300 for Truxedo Elevate CS Rack...
If you're in the market for a rack and/or tonneau cover, I'm swapping out my bed setup to a canopy since I need a bit more covered storage. Canopy should arrive in May.
Heard from my dealer and really surprised I got a VIN & build week of 5/29 since I kept the Lux and 360. Of course, I had already given up hope and picked up one off the lot. I'd hate to cancel my order and let it get marked up $10k.
Curious if anyone would be interested in the one I got off...
I just unscrewed and replaced it with the Stubby Jr. I don’t have a pic but I think I saw it on either the Facebook group or subreddit.
Looks like it was posted here yesterday as well: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/ranger-stubby-antenna-fits-maverick.10435/
Here's that Bowen Scarff post: https://www.mavericktruckclub.com/forum/threads/western-washington.460/post-99587.
I have no idea if signing something is enough to keep shady dealers in line. I try to come ready to give a dealer hell if they try to take advantage. I pack snacks and have my...
Doc fees are capped at $150 in Washington. Definitely check the DOL site for registration and licensing fees. $850 seems high. Someone posted their numbers from Bowen Scarff earlier and I think it was in the $400s.
If anyone is looking to get a Lariat, Ford of Kirkland has a Carbonized Grey Metallic First Edition. It's not on their site yet but I believe it will get listed with $10k ADM. They quickly dropped to $5k ADM but I can wait for my order for that amount.
