Went old school…. Maverick build on chrome wheels

My last few cars have been with really nice looking black wheels. I still love the look but this time I was needing a little old school white with chrome. Hope (at least a few you) like it. I love my little Maverick.

Love it , chrome use to be the upgrade option , now people pay extra for flat black instead of chrome ?!

Looks great with chrome. I thought about those but wanted to stick with 17" so I bought these for my truck. Just have to wait till late April or early May. Pa. weather doesn't want to cooperate. Seems most aftermarket wheels look the same. Either bunch of skinny spokes, ovals, or small rectangular blocks. The choices are always iodized or colors. Chrome with my OWL General Grabbers will look sweet I think. My truck is a HPR xlt Hybrid.

I agree with the person who said chrome is timeless.

My last truck was black with chrome wheels.
The only reason I don't have a black Mav with chrome wheels is
I simply wanted something different: Alto Blue Mav with black wheels.

Black wheels were a fall-back because I could not find a silver set in stock
at the time i was looking.

Agreed .... i was looking for something that would cover brake/hub hardware behind the wheel.
Every wheel that would have done that was too ghetto looking or too expensive (or both).

This was what I had on my previous truck... it hid hardware perfectly.

Congratulations on getting your Maverick! Those chrome wheels look spectacular. Not seen anyone do that option yet.

Now that you have it, perhaps one of the next mods is to add a Maverick Truck Club decal so you can properly “represent.”

Great looking Wheel!!!

Thanks! I can't wait to get them on. I still have to paint my calipers and possibly spray the backside of my wheels with a light charcoal grey to accentuate the painted calipers. They claim you should let the caliper paint dry for 24 hours before installing wheels. That's the whole problem about getting a new vehicle mid October. Waiting for long term nice weather to do mods.
