I saw a new Bronco with a 70s retro paint job and rims that looked great. Made me think about doing my Maverick in a two tone red and white paint job to match my grandfather early 80tys f-100

THIS IS JUST BEAUTIFUL and reminds me of the good old days! Congrats!I think black wheels look good in certain cases but I am still old school and love the chrome 5 spoke retro look. This is my third Maverick and I love these trucks. I have installed the following upgrades to date on my 2024:
1. Eibach lowering kit
2. Foose Legend 18” 5 spoke wheels
3. Sumitomo 235/60/18” hp tires
4. Ford OEM soft roll up tonneau cover
5. Drop in bed liner with OEM Ford bed mat
6. tailgate opening shock.
Up next, painting brake calipers to match Atlas Blue Metallic, chrome door handle covers, tinting front windows, paint portion of grill and mirror covers to match, install fog lights, and Cat Back exhaust modification. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am with your truck!

Very nice! Just curious: I'm considering lowering my Maverick about like yours, but being that I'm old too, I don't want a stiff ride. How does Eibach lowering kit affect the ride? I want to be able to take my Maverick from Ohio to the beaches of Florida and I don't want a sore dupa!I think black wheels look good in certain cases but I am still old school and love the chrome 5 spoke retro look. Hi Steve, I went with 18” wheels on 235/60 tires for 2 reasons, I think 18” scales better to the Maverick and it is a better ride than going with 20” wheels. I had another Maverick with 20”s and the ride is softer with the 18s. You won’t have a problem.Very nice! Agree, they just don’t make anything close enough to work with the 5x108 bolt pattern.I think old school Cragars would look great with the right offset .
Oh no , chrome goes with any color, black, white, hot pepper red, blue, silver, charcoal grey, and even cyber orange. Everyone seems to be stuck on black which I can’t understand. Not sure if people think it’s easier to keep clean?I think Chrome on this specific blue looks so good. Probably the only color I would do it on. LOL
Nice job. But "old school" To me old school is Crager five spoke mags" or Moon Discs. Maybe even a Ray Fink airbrushed on the tail gat. Still almost old school and looking great!I think black wheels look good in certain cases but I am still old school and love the chrome 5 spoke retro look. I agree and would’ve gone with Craiger’s had they made something that fit but I went with five spoke look to get as close as I canNice job. I went with black because I love it with the iconic silver. I dig seeing bronze on the black and hpr colors but I probably wouldn't do that myself. I'm not a fan of chrome in particular but love it on this blue. I think black makes trucks look a little more aggressive which is what I like about it. Although I chose matte black and I just curb checked this morning swerving away from someone busy looking at their phone, and I'll never buy another matte colored wheel. hahaOh no , chrome goes with any color, black, white, hot pepper red, blue, silver, charcoal grey, and even cyber orange.
