Dude Im effing livid. I got the production email back in December for a Feb 21st prod date. Now they moved it to March 21st. Im legit pissed as shit and will most likely be saying im cutting my losses and moving on. Honestly Im just about done with waiting. Settling with an SUV or a Jeep might not be a bad idea either.
you should at the very least buy when it comes in and sell it for a profit

This forum is devolving into a cesspool of conspiracy theories and tempter tantrums about a budget vehicle no one needs that has debuted in a time of unprecedented supply chain issues.

You'll get your truck when you get it. Ford owes you nothing until you've paid for the truck.

Man, this shit is exhausting

Is a "tempter tantrum" when you're pissed about your Maverick situation and you're tempted to go out and buy a different vehicle? Inquiring minds want to know. ;-)

No, that's just doing what you have to do. If you need a vehicle right away then this ordering process is definitely not for you.

When I "Pre-Ordered" the truck June 9th. Ford was advertising; Pre-Order your Maverick now and you will be driving it this fall" Well I took Ford for what they said and it bit me in the butt.

Have you paid for the truck?

A few days ago, I took time out of my day and went to the grocery store. More than one. I had a plan for dinner, but no matter how many stores I went to, no one had what I needed. Did they owe me something? I changed my plan and did what I had to do.

Wait for your truck or buy something else. Moaning and groaning about this truck is so stupid. There are cars for sale everywhere. If you can't wait, you have options.

I ordered my XLT EcoBoost 4K on 1/25. I'm going to spend all my waiting time saving up for the down payment. The longer they take, the less it'll end up costing me.

People complaining about the complaining is at least as exhausting as the people complaining.

I don’t expect either to stop nor do I care. This is the proper forum to air such complaints.

If I find something exhausting I usually (aside from this one comment) don’t read it or just move on.

Eventually most people will have their trucks and then we can get back to talking about all the cool and fun stuff.

No, it will cost you the same.
I have the $ for the Maverick in cash. Does that mean it is free to me? :)

It means the APR will not go towards the full price, but instead, just what is left after I put a down payment on it.

Had the same production week as you, but I got bumped to March 28. So there's that.
