I just got pushed out 5 weeks.
I've been driving a borrowed car because I made the big (my) mistake of selling my car for good profit when I ordered. At least my stepdad's ford ranger 2001 with manual transmission is still going. but the heater doesn't work =O

  • Ordered 7/06
  • Originally scheduled in December for 21FEB week
  • Today rescheduled for 28MAR week
I hear ya. You will win. Watch some YouTube vids, order your parts, borrow those tools and fix that heater. The older they are the easier they are to fix. Hang tough!

Herb chambers in westboro. I never recieved my confirmation email but 3 people confirmed my order is in
Herb in Braintree flat out told me in August they are marking up their Mavericks so I thanked them for their honesty and moved on.

These delays don't bode well for those of us that haven't got a build date at all. If you guys are being pushed into mid April already, where are they going to fit in the rest of us? I'm a late August guy and can realistically see another five months to go.

I find it hard to believe that Ford is going to be able to fill all the 2022 orders.

Six days to reschedule? Six days?
I completely understand constraints and what not but really, what has changed that they didn’t know six days ago? At least wait a few weeks to seem a little more credible. Hahaha!
What changed was Fords stock dropping 8 percent (20 percent in 12 days). Also, the reallocation of micro chips to more profitable F150s to appease share holders but not consumers. I sold my Ford shares at $24.50 so I hope it falls and I will buy it back on sale.

those things seem plausible. Until you get the info that people have been getting delayed constantly since August. I’m pretty sure I got delayed the next day and then two more delays on my first build (I walked due to price gouging). I agree that this is a poor practice. Ford should be scheduling with very few unknowns at this point or not scheduling. At least they updated you and didn’t leave you in production purgatory for 4-5 weeks.

My original build week was 1/31 but just got pushed back to 2/7 a couple of days ago. Now, last night, I got another email pushing it back to 2/14 (it's a hybrid). June order here and based on the emails you guys are getting I full anticipate getting pushed into March at the very least. This way maybe I can enjoy the soon to be rising interest rates! 😬

I hear ya too! Mine was scheduled for Feb 7, now moved to Feb 28th. It's almost seems its par for the course now. It seems usually two delays before the time it actually gets built, so I'm expecting one more delay. At least we know they are commited to building our trucks, rather than just a note that they have received our order.

I got the same email today. Grrrrr
All of this feels completely random. I ordered from Quirk Ford in Quincy. (Shout out to Tom who explained the process easily and I had a confirmation email right away. A few dealers I spoke with sounded like they were making sh*t up and got a little condescending when I suggested my research didn’t match what they were telling me 😡). I finally got a 3/7 build date last week…but fortunately for me, got an email last night saying it was moved up to 2/21. (Ordered 9/2/21). I have no confidence I won’t get another email telling me it’s been bumped to April/May so it is hard to get excited by this. I feel most for all the people who haven’t even got an order confirm from Ford but their dealer is telling them it’s in…that would give me high anxiety…(not saying the order isn’t in!)

Mine got picked last week for 3/7, now moved to 4/4. Not complaining, I got a build date so I'm good.

It was a hybrid order. I'm wondering if all the reschedules are on Hybrids?

Anyway, it's sure to increase the anxiety of those hoping to get picked tomorrow.
Yep

Got scheduled last week for March 7th, got the email this morning that it's been pushed back to March 28th. At this point we may be fortunate to get our truck a year after we ordered.
