Weird Shipping Email

So I just got an email telling me a package is being sent to me. Tracking number and everything. Its from truck-hero, and it had links to an extang email adress.

Problem is I never ordered from them

I did order from realtruck.com. and I did order a Gator bed cover.

So is this just a case of multiple companies using different fronts and using the wrong email address or what?

Lot‘s of vendors sell products that are then shipped by other companies.

Its possible it got drop shipped by realtruck, its not out of the question. Question it if it doesn't show up.

I ordered my bed cover from Bakflip and it was shipped from RealTruck. So, yes it's the same company that has many store fronts.

Most of the online retailers stock nothing they are just a web page. Parts ship directly from the manufacturer .

That is true for some items, but RealTruck does carry stock of many of their items. When I ordered my cover that morning it had shipped from RealTruck by 2 pm and had been picked up by FedEx. No way that would have happened had they had to send it to the manufacturer to be filled. I know many times pre-orders on new items will ship directly from the manufacture.

Yep. It was way back in January, but I ordered a bed rack, rails, and tonneau cover from one of the main websites people use. Pretty sure it was a package deal. Got order and shipping confirmations from I think 3 different companies. One for each component of the package. I think 2 of the 3 were direct from the manufacturer.
