Went from '18 F150 XLT 3.5 EB to a '23 Lariat Hybrid and I have no regrets (until I need a full size truck .)

My grips are - No auto-dimming rear view mirror, rain sensing wipers, and small infotainment screen especially on the Lariat.

Anyone install a FORD auto-dimming mirror instead of the KIA one?

Ive had my XLT mav for two yuears this last oct. ordered through Ben Davis Ford in Auburn in. we have under 12000. miles and love the little truck. Dealer is GREAT also

It's a KIA mirror and not a FORD mirror.. At least the housing, wouldn't doubt the mirror itself came from the same factory.

If you study real hard, you could probably figure out how to do it manually, so you can use the FORD mirror.

It's not that hard. You don't have to graduate from Harvard or anything!

Kia mirrors got no Seoul. Sorry. It was just sitting there.

You will find most mirrors are made by the same company Gentex. The only thing that might differ would be the mount and the plug for the wiring harness. Installed in my Mav is a Homelink auto-dimming with compass from a 2017 Subaru Forester I had laying around, works great. I hear you though, you would have thought they could have at least offered a auto-dimming mirror in the Lariat.

Mark, I would be interested in the process it took you to put the Subaru mirror in your Maverick? Pictures?
