I see Weather Tech has mud flaps listed for the Maverick now. Does anyone have them on their truck yet? From what I can see from the install pictures they cover a lot more then the factory ones do. The price is great too at $100 for front and rear.

I ordered both for my 23 EB XLT AWD BAP Maverick. The mudflaps should arrive today. The floormats are scheduled to arrive Friday. I will post pictures to this thread when they arrive and when they are on or in the Maverick for you.

It looks to me the big gap on the left rear wheel well is filled in nicely with these.

If you get the Weathertech flaps, the first step is to install the protective paint film. Make sure you do this first. I decided I didn't like nor did I need the protective film after doing the first one. Thus, I removed the first one I installed and didn't install the others.

Close up of one of the front ones. First from the front.

A view from a little bit further back so you can see both of them installed.

I have not decided if I like them or not. Yet, they do look "factory" and they were very simple to install.

Are these molded plastic? I'm assuming for the price they are but just asking.

I put a set of the Weathertech mudflaps on today. The hardest part was to peel the protective film from its backing, its not cut out so great. Also used soap to get it positioned perfectly but did not stick so great. The next three did not use the soap technique no issues.. I think they fit and look great. I had the Ford ones on my build put took them off due to the constaints. Glad I did.

No drilling you have to take out some push pins and replace them with a clip and screw provided. I did put the film on the car first. The film did stick out a bit from the mudflap when aligned to the wheelbwell opening. I can see why a previous poster left them out. But a very minor criticism.

Better to see a little ppf sticking out than worrying about rust underneath the flaps.

I didn't see a reply to your question. Yes, they are molded plastic.

I am the one that posted the pictures on the BAP EB above. They have grown on me and I have decided I am going to leave them on.

I am grateful someone chimed in about using the PPF. I should have mentioned that using soapy water doesn't work. Sorry about that! I used soapy water on the first one and regular water on the second one. Like the other poster, the regular water works better. I didn't like the look and took it off after 1 front and 1 rear. I am willing to go without the PPF on mine.

The floor protection will arrive sometime today.

These flaps look pretty nice, but the coverage is nowhere near as good as the RokBlokz in the back.

For the front mudflaps did you put the felt liner back in place like factory, or in front of plastic trim like the installation instructions?

Just installed mine and noticed with the felt behind the plastic trim the gap is quite wide and a tad loose.

The PPF was a royal pain to get in place. Need to see in a few days to see if it will stick or need replacements.

Inner edges of the mudflaps are smooth so there's less chance of it rubbing the paint down.
