Bah, trying to get some solid data was a pain in the ass. The charging strategy appears to change with the BMS figuring something out in the background after some time.
I never asked my dealer about the battery issue as I was afraid of them giving me a run around, booking multiple...
Well I bit the bullet and bought an AGM battery from Costco, $300 Canadian after taxes. The BCM seems to be more happy with it as if you leave it overnight it might drop 5% in SoC (as per Forscan). Needs more testing/data.
Something to note. I've had the BCM set for a 95% target for a while...
Yeah, that's the problem. I do have a NOCO charger and use it once a week. The battery voltage goes down to 12V or less, in a day or two. The Auto Stop Start not working isn't the end of the world, though not being able to use the app or entering the vehicle with no interior lights sucks.
At...
Ugh, I hope to god the dashcam isn't pulling 200-400mA in parking mode (shock sensor not time-lapse).
The truck has started everytime even when it was -50C here for a few days. Though, I do carry a NOCO jump pack in case as well.
I'll take screenshots using Forscan for Windows when I got a...
Hmm. I'll have to make a note of that. The BMS procedure varies, some say to do it, others say leave it alone. You're supposed to connect it to the body so the current sensor can figure out how much is going into the battery. Though, if you have a dashcam that's pulling 100mA+ the BMS doesn't...
Oh I agree. Only problem is you drop the vehicle off for the entire day and hope it gets looked at in time. If not the next day. That's even if they'll replace it, as it tests good for the State of Health.
I've seen posts saying the replacement EFB and/or AGMs are having issues too.
Best guess...
My 22 Maverick came with a EFB lead acid battery. The battery part number corresponds with that when looking it up.
With a dash cam plugged in I can have a State of Charge drop from 80-90% down to 60-70% in 7 hours. It's less if I disconnect it, but I can still get a deep sleep warning a week...
The ESI kit has the same profile it looks like. Though, it did come with a large piece to put on the top part of the gate.
I only did part of the seal so far. The instructions while are decent, you do have to do some modifications like the seal on the tailgate edge. It says 26 inches on both...
Well I pray they won't take that long. Usually takes the entire day for an oil change already.
Though, I can see the plastic getting marred easily. >_<
ESI makes a tailgate seal that's universal for all trucks.

Get some seals for the tailgate as well while you're at it installing the bed cover. Get's fairly dusty from the gaps on the tailgate/tonneau cover.
Regret not doing mine earlier and have some on order.
Best guess? Deep sleep.
BMS is suppose to make the battery last longer by not overcharging the battery. 80% is the State of Charge (SoC) target.
You can change the target level to whatever you want so the alternator should charge at 'Conventional Charge' vs trickling the battery. I'm not 100%...
I'm having a Blonde moment. Graveyards ftw.
I'll have to recheck the truck later today.
As far as I remember the triangle protrusion on the mudflaps (front) matches the pocket on the felt liners for the front wheel wells. Though, the rear mudflaps don't have them due to the wheel liner being...
Anyone in Canada get the recall done yet?
Seems like quite the effort to get the parts ordered in.
Dealer needs to inspect the vehicle first hand before they can order the Side Airbags. Been called in to replace them, but, magically the parts never arrived in the first place.
Edit: Derp, being an idiot here.
The pictures are incorrect. Front image is the rear. Rear image are the front.
I can definitely say the mud flaps help keep the truck sides cleaner for longer.
The rear mudflap prevents most, not all, of the muck dripping from the driver side tail lamp.
