This happened to me not long after I got my FX4. It was happening quite frequently. I finally topped it off and it went away. I noticed it though, it seemed to happen almost every time it rained. Hadn't happened in forever until yesterday when it rained and sure enough. Got a warning. Today, sunny with no rain, and no warning.

2.0 eco boost lariat tirm. The low washer fluid level indicator just came on and off randomly while I was driving. Sometimes it also sends an alert to the ford app. I refilled the reservoir and it was nearly full. It looks like a faulty sensor or software issue. Does anyone have a similar issue?
This happened about a week after purchasing my 2025 Lariat hybrid.

Stayed on for two days then disappeared.

Haven’t had time to look into it yet.

This just happened to me. I have a brand new 2025 XLT. I just had my first oil change about 4 months ago. I thought there's no way I've ran out of windshield washer fluid that fast, I've never ran out of fluid in any vehicle I've ever owned, especially not after only 4 months. The warning kept coming on and going off, it wouldn't just stay on, so I thought something was wrong.

Just to be safe I ordered a bottle of the Motorcraft windshield washer fluid, which should be the same as what is/was in there already, so I could rule out the fluid causing some sensor issue. I go to fill the reservoir and I ended up pouring the entire gallon of fluid in there....so yes it really was empty that entire time. Either they forgot to refill this at the oil change or this thing just spits out like a quart of fluid every time you pull the lever back to spray the windshield.

I've had my Lariat for about 2 months, and this has happened about 3 or 4 times. I guess I should have my dealer look at it.

Me too. Have a 2025 Lariat and 3 months in I start having washer fluid warning light come on and off. Happened 3 times. Looks full and I only used washers a couple times. Love the truck but did not want to be spending time on servicing or having someone tinker with a new vehicle.

Another one with the same result. Brand new truck. One month, less than 1k mi.

was very under filled from the dealer, but the light has stayed on even with the tank topped up.

I took mine to the dealer and if I recall correctly they said that where the wire connects to the sensor had issues. They were able to test and pinpoint it. Have not had issues since. So defective part from the factory it seems.

Top it off, itll go away. Please dont bump the lock button when you get out to refill it, but if you do.... try the back door.
