Do people ever answer these honestly? Why not just go down the form with all fake info outside of your email which they already have?

what use is the survey data if the responses aren’t real?

What’s the chances I just pencil whip this survey with the most random answers and say gimme my $50?
They are pretty clear that the answers of each survey will be examined by an individual before payment is cleared to be made.

They have fake/bait questions in the mix to ensure this doesn't happen. In combination with the review being done by a (almost certainly) 3rd party that is outsourced to an overseas data processor.

The example I came across was, "I was born 3 days ago."

Just received that survey today. I deleted it. I answered the JD Power survey that I was sent weeks ago and that is all. Recently I just went to a new Doctor and I had to answer a survey and they wanted to know if I had any guns in my house and if I was feeling depressed I've had enough of this crap. Every one have a nice day. :giggle:

Just got my "survey" today. After reading the comments on this forum...I think I'll pass.

I got it yesterday or day before and went through it last night.... I found nothing out of normal questions. Race, Sex, year born, what have you bought in the last six months. I checked Ford Maverick and an household appliance. It ended with I did not qualify.

In the title of the email it says $20 :

" Important Survey About your Vehicle - $20 for your Feedback "

Then in the body of the email it says $50 :

" In exchange for your participation in our important online survey, Luth Research / SurveySavvy is pleased to offer you $50 for your time. "

If you cannot even get that straight you should be embarrassed, fire them Ford !

Ford has once again partnered with Survey Savvy to conduct ownership/demographic surveys for buyers of the Maverick. They have done this in the past with other vehicles. The pitch is that you complete a ~30 minute survey and Survey Savvy pays you $15-$150, depending on which vehicle you purchased.

DO NOT COMPLETE THIS SURVEY!

Anyone who has worked in the mental health field will immediately recognize the questions for what they are and for how incredibly invasive they really are. There are questions asked that I wouldn't expect to be asked by anyone but a (mental) health care professional, in a medical setting, and during diagnosis/screening. It wasn't just one or two questions, either, many of the questions were a derivative of mental health screening questions used in the screening for self harm, depression, anxiety, and others. Some of the questions themselves only slightly modified from the standard questions you would see asked in a medical setting.

No matter....

None of the information they are gathering would be covered by any real privacy laws. Yet, I would comfortably wager that you could make a medically accurate "diagnosis" for several mental health conditions based just off the information from this survey.

Do not volunteer, sell, or give, this kind of information to anyone! Your privacy and wellbeing are worth more than that.
Agree 110%! I got the survey yesterday. I opened it, read a few of the questions, judged them to be exactly as you, invasive, and deleted it to trash. FoMoCo used the email I provided for the COVP - order verification process - and is now mining info about you and me. I second that, don't answer the questions.

I didn't see it but that is likely because my email server flagged it as spam already. I would not answer any survey that doesn't come from Ford directly.

I wonder if Ford even hired them as Ford does have its own survey application (that I've used multiple times). Why not put Ford in the title instead of "Major North American Automobile Manufacturer"? Smells phishy.

yes, exactly. if I'm going to bother submitting information it might as well be accurate. I am significantly more likely to respond if you pay me, or offer the possibility of payment through a drawing.

I have not received this particular survey mentioned in the original post but I've gotten a lot of other surveys.

I bought 2 Broncos and 2 Mavericks last year. Long irrelevant story on that, but at any rate, I got surveys from Ford for each vehicle with the dealership rating. The one that the dealership gets paid by Ford for perfect 5/5 scores and misses if they have anything less. That should be every person that buys a Ford.

The next surveys I received were from Strategic Vision. They ask a lot of questions about competitors considered, important features, hybrid and battery electric vehicles. Even on the Bronco survey they asked this, which to me, it should be obvious that someone driving a brick-shaped convertible doesn't really care about mpg and one would suspect that off-road and full electric would not be a winning combo unless your off-road trails are within 20 miles of home.

Nevertheless, I filled it all out 4 times. Why? Because I want Ford to listen to me and make the vehicles that matter to me. I don't know how many people they are asking but it's less than the number of vehicles sold, and so statistically my voice is louder than probably anything else I can do besides buying and not buying a vehicle.

Afterwards, I also got an invite to 'The Drivers' Connection' which I believe is run in-house by Ford and they seem to care most about financing and leasing. I fill this out also and I tell the truth: yes, I'd like the ability to buy a vehicle fully online. Yes, I'd be interested in special loan and lease programs, but only if there is economic gain for me. I will not pay more for convenience. I will pay less for cutting bureaucracy and making the process of getting a loan and buying a Ford easier/faster. The Drivers' Connection asks small questions about every month, and bigger surveys less often, or maybe I'm getting fewer because they don't care what savvy consumers think.:LOL:

I get these types of surveys from Home Depot, Southwest airlines, etc.... All offer something for filling it out. They are all scams, so I blacklist them all ;)
