Rolling on Vision Monaco 20x8.5 with 245/45/20 Falkens
Lowered via Scale coilovers (low version)
Lots of little things added (tailgate strut, hood struts, Buschur intake, window tint)
A couple of modifications of note:
Retro fit a/c controls with the temp screens from a 21 Bronco Sport

There will be many mods to come as I have time and trying to wait on products to be released
I’m not good at fabricating things so I try to not if I can help it
Let’s see if anyone notices what was done in this last pic (and it’s not the removal of the headrests)

Do you happen to have the part number for that A/C Control from the Bronco? Mine was one of the orders built after they stopped putting the temp screens in and I'd been thinking about how to fix that.

There are lots of different part numbers for those
Best bet is to watch eBay and snag one there

Went too dark on the front side marker lights, did 4 coats when I should have just done two coats
Was shooting for an orange red tint but ended up with dark red
At some point I’ll get another set and try again but the driver side one was such a pain idk I want to mess with it
They looked much lighter in the light

Going to have a local legend lowrider painter work some magic on these….
Still hoping I can convince someone to make these in carbon
Also have another set I’m going to make into full functional vents (won’t say Lariat anymore either)

Lowest setting in the front, up about 1.5” in the rear
Have not looked at CV joint angle

Thanks. I'm betting the angles are fine, just curious. C'mon September 15th, CG Lariat hybrid getting ordered. I already have the wheels for it and a few odds and ends. I'll probably order the Scale coilovers once they release them for FWD.

Was going to wait for the Black Appearance Package badges to be released but after talking to the parts dept at my dealer I didn’t feel like waiting 6 months (once production starts with that option)
So I ordered a regular set of front/rear badges that I will customize myself
Well going to try something, if that doesn’t work then I’ll give them to a painter to make them right
We shall see if I can make my idea work

Got some other minor plans for the near future
Real annoyed I now have a rock chip in my windshield right in front of my face
(1500 miles)
Ugh

I just did the AC retrofit myself using one from a Bronco Sport. I purposely left the Bronco button on it. Doubt if anyone outside of this forum would ever notice the difference! Lol

I asked about the CV angle because I saw a few people reporting issues with the 2.5" front lift. Obviously we're going the other direction, but was wondering if they ended up flat or inverted some. Ideally, you don't want to run them horizontal.

Here is the reply I received from Scale when asked if any other suspension adjustments would be needed. Granted I ordered the regular version. That will still lower the truck 4" in the front and level it in the back.

No additional modification are needed to the suspension when installing this coilover . CV Joints handle the angle change well and the suspension configuration don't give too much natural negative camber when lowering so it's pretty easy to align wheels to prevent excessive tire wear. The suspension already come with camber adjustable front top mount and also have camber adjustment on the shock to knuckle bolt. Rear only have factory alignment adjustment but it can be set to avoid tire wear. Factory swaybar endlinks are strong enough so just adding the coilover upgrade works great with other factory components.

The front really isn’t the issue other than having to adjust the camber plate before you install the assembly since you can’t access it from the top
The answer they gave me on the rear is to adjust the toe to lessen the tire wear…. Basically just get it close enough

The shop I’m working with is building some custom pieces to allow for full camber adjustability so I’m not buying tires every 3 months
Their idea is to market their pieces either to their supplier or just offer it as a kit that can be mailed out

When I come back from my bike trip in Canada they are going to get everything fabricated and set me up right

The rear end seems to have less adjustability than most would like to see
I don’t recall what issue @catinthebathtub was having in the rear but it’s is something they are working on as well

i’ve touched two mavericks. yours and mine. your awd has unlimited rear suspension adjustment compared to my fwd turbo. mine has zero adjustability and it is like a subframe design.
yours does have toe adjustment and the potential to use eccentric camber bolts.
(or did that not work?)
my problem is rear toe-in. but, lowering didn’t create the problem. by design it had it before i put on the springs.
the only potential way to fix mine would be to make a complex ultra thin wedge shaped shim to put the bolt on stub axle (and brake caliper!) at the proper angle.
currently i don’t see the shim solution being feasible to manufacture.

Can you give me more info on the A/C controls? I didn’t get my XLT yet so would that not have the digital numbers on it and the bronco sport does so that’s why you did the retrofit
