Finally installed my vleds full amber front signals. Work flawlessly as I’d expect nothing less. The “running” brightness may actually be as dim as the stock bulbs but flashing the signal, lights up everywhere. I know these aren’t everyone’s cup of tea due to the cost but they’re stunning to look at in person! Video shows difference between stock on drivers side and led on passenger

Nice! Although during the video, my eye kept being drawn to the garage wall. That's a lot of kids bikes!

Looks nice.

I did notice that one of the LEDs comes on before the other. Is that normal with VLEDs?

Drivers side still had the stock bulb. Was comparing the two before swapping it

I guess brighter is better for safety, but from an aesthetic standpoint I think the incandescent bulbs look better and are less jarring.

To each their own but I’ll have to disagree. The brighter signal compliments how bright the headlights are

Looks great! I still prefer the switchback for the all white look but to each their own. I'm more jealous of that deflector. Mine is sitting in my closet waiting for the temps to get over 60 like the instructions say.

Knowing me, I’ll switch to the switchback bulbs eventually bc I’m always undecided. Haha. Currently I like the contrast of the amber against the led lows

I got the switchbacks version of these, the blink works fine super bright no hyper flash just no switch back function or white running light… 🙃🙃🙃 bought some of the LR-15 in line resistors to hopefully solve the problem, wil report back. (Thought I wouldn’t need them since the draw on these is pretty high already…)

Do you have a lariat? Also, why didn’t you get resistors? The kit comes with everything you need

XLT , my kit came with in line controller/driver but no resistor. That’s extra.

when you’re driving at night with low beams on does your ambers stay ON dimly lit? My switchbacks do not. The only time they come on and function is when the car is locked and I hit the unlock button. Rest of the time they are off and only blink amber with turn signal on or hazards. My theory is that controller/bulb only adds resistance for when turn signal is activated which is enough to prevent hyper flash but with no resistor the constant on dim mode/switchback won’t light and is throwing the computer off. Fingers crossed I’m hoping its resistors since the dimly lit always on amber is working for you.

Yes the amber stays lit when my lights are on. I have the full amber so I’m not 100% with the switchback feature
