Ordered from Ted Britt. Just moved to NOVA from Charlottesville and waited to order till I got moved. Put in a reservation in June with Malloy in C’ville but did not want to have to drive back there to get the car. Emailed the sale person this afternoon with questions. Will see it I get a response. Did not get one last week. Have not gotten an email from Ford confirming order but sales person says it has be approved. Will see.

Hey all, surprised nobody else has created this thread yet, but I wanted to find out who else in VA is obsessed with the Maverick. I'm up in NOVA and due to ordering everything that is currently constrained/limited, I likely wont see my Maverick until February or March but that's alright because it's my dream build. If you've received your Mav, I'd love to know who you ordered through, see pictures, and hear about what you plan on adding.

That was my issue with Sheehy. I changed my order several times so they may have been irritated with me. Malloy was horrible even when I was there they seemed distracted.

I still haven't got my $100 deposit back from either dealer

Ordered a hybrid FE Lariat in June from a dealer in Richmond off Broad St. It went okay but I never got the email. I have received confirmation it was ordered from Ford directly. I check in with my sales person about once a month to see if I have a VIN.

I'm in SW Virginia and My Mav is due at the dealership around 11/9, so getting excited to own. I purchased a XLT EcoBoost FWD with Lux, Rear Sliding Window and Floor Liners in CGM. I will post photos and details after arrival. I purchased through Chapman of Horsham with Drop Ship to Apex, NC. So far, Chapman has been top notice and by what has been posted on this forum by other owners, they are holding true to their pricing as quoted and the complete purchase experience was a breeze. I rolled my 2006 Nissan Frontier on I-81 in 2014 and this Maverick will be my replacement for a truck. I hope your experience in Ordering/Production/Shipping/Purchasing goes perfect and on time.

Update: My Mav was rail off loaded and delivered on 11/1 to the United Road Service Ford Logistics Shipping lot in Petersburg, Virginia and has been sitting there since (1-1/2 hour from my dealership) - the NEW estimated ETA dealer delivery is now 12/25 (Right, CHRISTmas Day), don't think the delivery will be in 2021. Sad, all that excitement for nothing - just watching the tracker never move and the delivery date keep extending!!!!

Update #2: My Mav was delivered to the Courtesy Dealer today - Now the wait is on for Recall 21C35 and 21C36 to be checked, verified and fixed.

Update #3: The Maverick failed the Damaged Fuel Tank Recall-21C35! Now, I'm in line for the replacement tank to be delivered from Ford. Waiting, Waiting, Waiting!

Ordered from Chapman in Pa with a CD in Manassas. Never paid MSRP for a vehicle in my life and not about to start now. Crazy that some folks are willing to pay over sticker. Lucky enough not to need a new vehicle right away so just waiting patiently.

Yeah, Malloy freaked me out when the dude called me and emailed me about 5 times before I had a chance to respond haha. Koons wanted $1000 down so that wasn’t gona happen. Here’s hopin things go smoothly!

RVA here, the first Maverick I was able to look at in person was at Sheehy. They stated on their website it was a demo not for sale. I didn't have an order at this point because I wanted to sit in one and preferably drive one before committing even to the order.

When I get to the dealer they tell me I need a confirmed order and $500 deposit before I can even drive it. I told them I'd think about it and drove all the way back across town.

The next week Bill Talley Ford in Mechanicsville got one in stock and I got there before they were even able to inspect it. But the salesman I talked with was super cool about it and still let me look it over and start it up. He said he would let me know when it was available to drive. And he sure enough did later that afternoon. I went back to the dealer and was able to test drive it and get a pretty good feel for it. They were very upfront and helpful, my only complaint was they wanted $1000 over msrp and I told them I wasn't willing to pay that especially for a truck that wasn't my exact build.

But since they were pretty good to me about letting me drive it, I decided to go ahead and place my order since I saw so many people's order taking 3-4 months and I'd really like it before my next move sometime next February to help pull a U-Haul and just load the bed of course. Otherwise hopefully my old 90's junk can get me to my delivery.

Richmond. Ended up pulling the trigger on a XLT hybrid this past Friday. Never thought I would buy a car at sticker without even seeing one much less test driving it . I’m at the end of the line and probably won’t see it until summer . Went to Parrish Ford just outside Richmond In Goochland.

I'm in Richmond, going on Saturday to finalize my order with Richmond Ford West. Ordering XLT hybrid with copilot 360, trailer hitch, drop in bed liner, and rear window.

Waiting for mine out of Parrish Ford in Goochland. Side note, he didn't hike the price like other dealers. I got my Ford email but no build date yet. Hybrid XLT, spray liner, bed cover, 360 and luxury package. I see they have an XL eco boost in transit. You can bet I'll go sit in that thing when it arrives.

Yep sure did! Actually changed my order to Hybrid Lariat with just the hitch. Went smoothly and they said they don't mark up special orders. Got my confirmation email as I was standing there paying my $500 deposit.

Been scrounging all the Ford dealers websites looking for Mavericks coming in to check out in person.
