My truck arrived at the dealer a little earlier than projected. It arrived March 3rd, and I picked it up today! After reading about the skyrocketing interest rates, I was pleasantly surprised. Henrico Federal Credit Union currently offers 36 months @ 4.64%, 48 months @ 4.94% and 60 months @ 5.14%. The Finance Manager said that was better than Ford could offer. Jason Tucker is his name, he kind of dispelled my preconceived notion of that ALL Finance Managers were high pressure add-on product salesman. Great experience overall.

Well, I've only had time to grab a quick phone shot on the way home. I kept my Focus to drive back and forth to work. What folks have said about Alto Blue looking black in the shade and deep blue metalic in sunlight are correct.

Congrats on the pending delivery! I love the Mav in Alto Blue… I like it better than the Area 51 I picked. After a black car, I was hoping for a color that hides dirt a little more.

I stopped by Richmond Ford West where I purchased my Mav to say hello to the salesman and was curious to see if they had any for sale. He told me they still haven't received any stock orders, so they bought 2 XLs, 1 XLT and a Lariat from other dealers around the country. The Lariat has a $10,000 market adjustment and the XLT is marked up $7,500. I imagine they had to pay the dealers they bought these from more than MSRP, even as a fellow dealer. By the way, this dealer honored the price protection on my order without any qualms.
