Don't waste your time messaging the Ford rep. You will not find resolution there. Ask me how I know. Wait...no don't ask.

Hi Dan, if you’d like further assistance regarding the battery saver concern, feel free to send us a private message with your VIN and local Ford dealer. Thank you!
Hello Ford Motor Company,

Thank you for supporting this forum. I have a 2025 Maverick Lariet on order, being built the week of 11/18. Has this problem been resolved on the 2025’s? I read in one of these posts that AGM batteries will be standard in late 2024 and 2025 models as a workaround, but please advise.

We occasionally leave our cars at the airport for up to 2 weeks while traveling. Does this mean I will come back to a dead Maverick battery? My 2012 Toyota Prius and 2014 Fusion have never had a problem sitting there for 2 weeks.

Terry, it appears you have an ecoboost on order, imo, you shouldn't have any issues with this since it is been overwhelmingly a hybrid drive train issue. It's been pretty rare to see this on the ecoboost drive train, but there has been a few. I have a MY22 and never had an issue.

Thanks OldFordGuy. I have a 501a package on order. Hoping that’s an AWD hybrid.

BTW to all the Maverick ecoboost owners. My 2014 Fusion has a 1.5 ecoboost and it has been super reliable. It’s almost 11 years old with 130k miles, and uses no oil between changes. It’s still delivering 30-35 mpg on the highway.

My 2024 Mav now going into battery saver mode. Drove it 2 hours, still getting the same message from my Ford app. It did it in the past, but now it is happening more frequently. What is the fix for this?
Put your truck on a battery tender overnight. Let it sit for 8 hrs afterward, and/or do the BMS reset, using the high beam flasher & brake pedal method, mentioned in numerous posts in this forum. The forum search is your friend. Search forum titles for search terms like: BMS reset
