Updates after railcar unloaded?

Is there any way to get status updates after shipment reaches the destination railyard? CSX says railcar unloaded Feb 28 at 2 PM. No tracker status update since Feb 28. Or just say I'm being too anxious.

Used to be able to track the trucking company, they have since put that under a login and password so the average person can no longer do it that I know of, if you have a good repor with your dealer they can see what the status is and tell you. mine set in the train yard in Jacksonville Fl for three weeks until it finally madeit onto a truck and came the last 65 miles to the dealership. That was earlier this month. My wifes which came in a year ago was off loaded from the train car and showed up at the dealership the next day.

I called the dealer today and received the same information shown on the tracking site. He wouldn't volunteer that he could do more. Sat 3 weeks at the Jacksonville rail yard? That hurts.

Like some were waiting for your wife's truck to arrive to make a full load. Hers finally got there so to fill up the delivery transport.

Truckers are scarce and are taking best paying loads. The wait could be many things. Truck could have transportation claim and rail agent may need to inspect. Ford could have a stop sell until repaired, etc, etc. Ford can elect to perform updates to 100 trucks with traveling tech instead of paying dealers to do them.

Mine sat at the yard for about a week, I emailed my sales agent, she said "Next week". The manager at the dealership called me later that afternoon and said "It's here! When do you want to pick it up?"

I think time of year will make a difference in the speed of delivery. Spring and fall all the "snow birds" are moving. Moving companies, car cariers and transports are insanely busy moving people. So there will be less availability during those times.

I got status updates from Ford chat once off loaded. It started as waiting for a transport to be assigned, then an estimated ship date, then it showed up on the dealer lot the day before they said it would be delivered lol

Helps if the dealer has some return vehicles. Mine had enough used vehicles going back to the train yard to justify the initial trip down. So, mine didn't sit that long.

Also helps that the dealership got its start as a rail freight company and still owns a yard. So, the truck driver was likely an employee of the dealership.

My truck was delivered to the dealer last night, and I picked it up today, exactly 3 months after ordering.
