Shorter bed should make the total height of the roll up shorter.

Here is the current Ford Accessories hard roll up on a 5.5’ bed F150, hope it looks the same.

Hmmmm, aluminum tootsie roll rattling next to your rear window. I'll pass thank you. I had one of them and didn't like the rollup. Looking for a retractable. Would rather loose some of the bed which I have never filled then have that thing rolled up bouncing and rattling around back there. From the photos I've seen, it appears they haven't put a lot of sound deadner in the truck. Don't need the extra noise.

I like the Ford Tri-fold ..Which I think you can just open/flip up the panel next to the bed gate and put stuff in without opening it all up...

I feel like the cost of the factory install version of the tri fold is pretty high. Any feed back on aftermarket tri folds vs factory? Locking? durability? functionality?
