I'm guessing my XL comes with a donut. Could I switch it out with a real spare later?

This part of the stream really confused me. Was Tim referring to ecoboosts and hybrids with selected full sized spares? Those that are not in packages? All hybrids with 360 come with a full size spare included. Was he saying no mavericks with 360 have been scheduled?

Sorry folks, there is no true FULL size spare unless you put in your own. I posted this many moons ago:

Looks like all Mavericks come with two different spare tires:

1. a space saver spare tire, donut, or temporary tire, size T155/70D17
2. If you purchase a hybrid or pay extra for a so called "Full Size Spare" surprise, the size is 215/60R17 . This is not the same as the OEM tire/rim on any Maverick.

This information is shown on the Placard located on the driver side door jam.

Please note, the spare does not have a Ford OEM TPMS factory sensor.

Tim Bartz touched on it again. Their remaining priority 13 carry over orders that are XLT Hybrid with Lux package (like me) are being overlooked and not previewing. It may change before Thursday. He believes it may be the full-size spare.

Keep in mind it is just his theory. Looking at those being previewed compared to those not, the full size spare is the only thing he can figure is the difference. Nothing official.

Am I reading this correctly, all hybrids come with 215/60 spare? That is how I am interpreting #2, but I do not believe that to be true.

At this point it just seems like excuses from them if he is correct.
I mean I can go to the local tire shop and buy a steelie and a same size crap tire tomorrow that will fit, and I live at the end of the line.

EB has that size, Hybrids should have 215/60R17 as stated above.

Lets see a pic of your placard located on the drivers side door jam folks !

Given Ford calls it that in the order guide and that is what Tim had identified as the commonality within his system, we are going to call it a full-size spare.
