It's not really a problem for me but, if my '23 Hybrid had a bigger tank (not sure how much bigger) I could only make 1 fuel stop on my frequent St Pete to Indy trips.
I agree. I don't get all the haters on the BEV. The limited distance a BEV can travel doesn't hurt anyone except the owner. Who cares. Every drop of fuel that is not used is a good thing.
In the last 107 days, I've put 13,100 miles on my truck. I've been very happy with the Contis. At about 10K up in WI., I picked up a nail in the left front. I had it plugged in Iron Mountain MI. Drives like it never happened (for now). ;) Pretty sure I'm gonna blast up to St. Louie and back for...
I'm picking up my XL this Saturday. I chose the XL Hybrid because I'm a cheap bastard and I wanna screw the oil companies out of every dime I can. ;) I think not having power side mirrors will be my only negative.
I bet our trucks are on the same railcar and maybe the same convoy car carrier. See my sig for my details. This past Friday the 14th, Capitol City Ford said they thought it would show up in 3-4 days. I'm flyin up to Indy this coming Saturday to get it!
I hope to pick up my XL hybrid in 2 weeks. Like most old guys my night driving ain't near as easy as it used to be, and I have to aim my side mirrors down so I'm not blinded. I hope all of the good things about my new Mav outweighs this inconvenience.
Ford Chat told me mine was in Nogales also and gave me this railcar number. TTGX962378. CSX did not recognize it. NS kinda did. It twice repeated the number without the G and said it was in California in Feb. So something ain't workin☹
Born and raised and raised a family in Irvington (eastside of Indy). Retired and now live full time in St Pete. I ordered my Mav from my friends at Capitol City Ford.
How many more roundabouts can they put in Hamilton Co.? :sneaky:
