This shop has been gone for years. I've moved over the years but still remember them or the stuff they sprayed. I do remember those cars holding up to the salt or elements it wasn't a yearly application. Still the close as I could get to it was Krown.Yes, former Michigander here. Decades ago there was a greasy material called "Texaco" or something like that. I went to place in Dearborn. It went out of vogue in the 90's or early 00's. Maybe it's still around somewhere. Better than the old school Ziebart.
I'm not a fan of Ziebart or that black stuff that dries and cracks allowing the salt water or salt spray access to metal. That's just me or my opinion. Its what directed me to Krown. Good or bad that's what I sent with.
On another note, I've always been told once a Michigander, always a Michigander. Hope whatever state or country you are in, you are enjoying it.
