Tremor MPG after lift kit

I traveled from east tennessee to gulf shores Alabama. It's a 2024 tremor with the 2" lift lift. I had it loaded down with all luggage, gear for over a week plus a fishing cart attached to the rear. It averaged 29mpg over the trip down including in town to the rental house and leaving my house. Showed a range of 525 miles for the tank at fill up.

Much better than the 22 mpg highway the EPA estimated!

60mph seems about right. Tremor really drops over 70.

Lower MPH helps with MPG for all vehicles. Air drag is a big MPG factor.

Just traveled from Scottsdale to Ventura, all 70 to 80 mph. The Tremor was loaded with a motorcycle and all my carpentry tools. Average 30 mpg. There was very little wind. The same trip two years ago into a 50mph headwind avg 13.7 over 150 miles. Too many variables, I do know that my lifetime average is 26.5, and I’m happy with that. This little truck continues to amaze me.

I set the adaptive cruise to the speed limit. If it was 65 then 65 if it was 70 then 70. I didn't super cruise it. My expedition did 14 mpg on the same trip last year. I will take doubling the gas mileage every time.

I went nearly 500 miles on a single tank. So lets call it 480/15=32 mpg. I think fords estimate was pessimistic on this occasion

Don't trust the computer number. Check that mpg at the pump. My reading was off by 2 mpg on the high side after 3,000 miles. The dash was telling me 30.2, but the actual number was 28.2.

98% of my driving is city. My computer always is 2 mpg higher than actual. Did some 70 mpg highway driving on the last tank and it was 2 mpg lower than actual.
