Does anyone know if the dealer would have to disconnect the battery to reprogram trailer module, dropped my 22 mav off for emissions inspection, oil change and the recall, they did everything but the inspection (said their machine was broken) took it to a shop that charged me for the inspection but said the monitors were not ready and also said the NYS website shows the dealer tried to inspect it with monitors not set. It’s been 2 weeks and monitors are still not set.(o2 and catalyst) could the reprogramming have messed up the pcm or ecu. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Edit since I apparently hit submit too soon

No need to disconnect battery, but a refresh resets all monitors.

They don’t disconnect the battery, but any software flash will reset everything. I noticed the same thing when I had it done. Just drive around enough to get the monitors to set again. May take 100+ miles but I passed emissions no problem about two weeks after doing it.

Fuel, catalyst and O2 monitors are often the most annoying. Do some lead foot driving here and there to help them along.

Any software flash will reset everything. It happened to me, just drive around, everything came back itself

The shop that charged you to do it "should" be re-inspecting it at no charge. Once your monitors are set of course. Hopefully they didn't scrape your sticker. Which they aren't supposed to do, unless you are past the inspection month already.
