What are the annoying messages?

im glad I went cheap and had my ARE installer put ina battery powered light.
I may just need to have no lights or deal with the messages. I would have thought this would be a broader issue with many posts etc

So as for some more detailed info, I have some questions. (1) Is this "light bar" to replace your 3rd brake light the ARE Cap covered up (2) does it light up for turn signals or (3) is it just a light inside the cap to see inside the cap during the dark? Does the "light bar" have a on/off switch or how does it turn on/off? (3) Did the issue start happening right after installation of the ARE Cap or a long time afterwards?

EDIT:
Sorry i just noticed OP post #6 indicating its just a light for the interior of the cap. So i would assume the power leads for the 2 clear cargo lights could be used, that would not affect the blis functionality and would turn on when you open the truck doors or the switch for the cargo lights. Definitely not the 4 pin trailer wiring harness wiring/plug which does mess with the blis.

Then I have to ask why Ford dealer could not say that for sure.
A point of reference from my post #7 above, on my 2026 Maverick, I just purchased a 3rd (smaller) trailer dedicated to my Maverick 3 days ago and plugging in its 4 pin connector for the 160 mile trip home I immediately received the BLIS, etc. deactivation warning on the dash.. And when I turned the truck off a few times on the trip home, the message reappeared when restarting.

good luck
