They are 315 MHz, like many other Ford vehicles.

$20 on Amazon. "Motorcraft TPMS35 Tpms Sensor Kit, 1 Pack": https://a.co/d/fdPWtK0

If you want to pay out the butt (80+ per sensor), feel free to order from Ford: https://parts.ford.com/shop/en/us/e...ical-related-parts/kit-tpms-sensor-7855603-1#

Notice that the official Ford ordering site says it fits the "Ford Maverick 2022 - 2024"
Well the photo that I posted was from a Ford parts department schematic.

Cool. Well I bought the ones I mentioned and had them mounted on an Maverick that was produced right before they switched over to the 23 model year (mine was built in mid-November). They work just fine and "relearned" with ease.

So at the very least the dates you mentioned about a switchover from one frequency to another are incorrect. Ford is/was using 315 frequency for at least the entire 22 model year. I have no reason to believe they changed that for the 23 model year.

Well I reckon the only way to really tell is to either call the parts department with your VIN number and see what part number they come up with or pull off a wheel and tire and look at the existing sensors. That definitely would be the foolproof way to do it.

I guess. Or just take my (possibly lucky) experience of trusting that Motorcraft website, buying 4 of the TPMS35 item number, and having it work flawlessly. It does seem odd that the manual you pulled from and the one I pulled from contradict each other. Very weird.

I wonder if the Mav can sense multiple frequencies..... Would be interesting to have someone who knows they have a 400 range sensor over-inflate a tire (lets say still in the safe range at something like 45 PSI) and see if a Mav will learn it (via the re-learn procedure). See if the Mav will report the over-inflation on that one tire.

Or......your more reasonable method of pulling apart a Mav tire to see what is inside. Haha.

Looks like we will have a new 2023 XLT soon. I have a set of 2022 XL rims and TPMS sensors for winter tires. The local tire shop claims the 2022 sensors won't work with the 2023 XLT as the sensors are year specific. I called a local Ford dealer service department and was told this was probably correct.
I've never heard of that the sensors are model years specific. Can anyone shed light on this?

If all goes as planned we'll have our new Maverick by the end of the week.
I have wheels and tires from 22 and they work. They are 315hz sensors. The sensors are $60 from Ford. The TPMS kit for 4 sensors are TMPS35. If you check, they are good for 22 and 23. So I call BS on them trying to sell you sensors. I put 23 maverick using my vin in this search and it provided this below. So I call bs.

The Autel generic sensors work fine with pretty much everything. I have a set in the 2022 Maverick, a 2017 Alfa Romeo and a 2009 Lexus.

I work in a Ford Parts Dept. Just Checked this 23MY (3FTTW8F91PRA04374). It has 315mhz sensors.

Thanks Castle666. So will my F2GT-1A180-AB 315mhz sensors work? Mine is a hybrid not an eco. Looks like the tire shop may just want to sell me something I don't need. Any suggestions for a TPMS relearn tool that will work with the Mav?

I'm not @Castle666 , but I can tell you this one works.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B076KL82JP

3 of the 4 tires re-learned really quick with the tool. The last tire (rear driver) made me work for it. Had to push the button on the tool about 10 times over a few minutes to get it to wake up.

That number matches this 23MY, so I would say yes they should work. If you want to send me the last 8 of your VIN I can verify it.

The Ford relearn tool is 8C2Z-1A203-A / TPMS-19. That is what the shop uses for relearn. Most tools should work for relearn.

Thanks! Yeah $60 per wheel is a lot especially when they are already doing an install. I’ll need to check around I guess.
Yes, the local tire place charges $60 per TPM and for my rim, winter tire bundle it was an extra $27 per wheel from Tire Rack. Have no proof but they claimed it is the same OEM Ford uses but would not have the Ford part number on them.

FYI I just swapped tires and rims on my 2023 about a hour ago and used 315hz motorcraft sensors and the truck didn't even notice the swap. Drove for 5-7 miles nothing wrong.

Update after driving for a couple of days now it's showing TPMS fault. I can't seem to trigger the sensors with the motorcraft remote or a magnet. If anyone has any info on how to trigger them let me know.
