Does the Maverick have TPMS and if so, is it the system that specifies with tire is low and pressure, or the basic one that just says one of the tires are low but not which one? TIA

All vehicles sold in the USA have been required to have them since 2010ish (not sure on the exact year. I believe the larger productivity screen can tell you what each tires pressure is at but I don’t believe the non lariat non fx4 maverick can do this though I’m really not sure

I'm getting a Lariat Lux so I'm hoping mine has it. My last two cars only had the basic one and it is annoying (especially on cold mornings) when you don't know which one is low and just keep filling air until it goes away.

Here's the screen in my Lariat Lux.

My XL has individual tire readings too
Would you mind posting a picture of that? I really haven’t seen too much on what that smaller screen can do. Thanks!

That's what a tire pressure gage is for with the older systems. Autozone or oriellys for about $10 for a decent one. My 2007 mustang GT and my wifes 2013 grand caravan both have that basic system. Walk around the vehicle with a pressure gage and check each wheel till you find the low one.

If they are low and your just filling and filling till the light goes out, then your likely overfilling them especially if your not using a pressure gage to check. The 2 older vehicles I have, when you fill them to the required pressure the light will not go out until you drive it a block or 2 then it will go out.

The individual readings are so much better. Until you get your tires rotated and the tech forgets to reset them, and you have to remember they are swapped until the next time lol

The sensor re learn tools are fairly inexpensive these days. Worth having in your toolbox IMHO

My XL. These are rims and tires off of a Bronco Sport. Not sure if one sensor is bad.

Found out the tires and rims I bought didn’t have sensors in them. Put my sensors in from the steelies and all good now.
