Totaled Maverick

I saw this on another Maverick club website

Well, our 2022 Maverick Hybrid was officially totaled today by the insurance company. The main wiring harness runs in the right front fender and was crushed on impact. They said it requires removal of the drive train and majority of the interior to install a complete new factory wiring harness. The loss of comms in all the computers threw 160 trouble codes. The repair estimate was around $20,000 all in so they wrote it off. Went and bought a 2025 Maverick Hybrid today. Will miss this one, really liked this truck. Thankfully the other party was determined to be fully liable. He was ticketed for improper left turn (caused the accident) and also ticketed for no State inspection on his truck.

Yikes! What are the odds? I just had an accident around the same area on my Maverick a couple of nights ago. Except, mine wasn't nearly as extensive as yours. Thankfully, it's still driveable until it gets fixed. Sorry to hear that. I'm glad you were okay and were able to get an immediate replacement at no cost. Here's mine for context...

I think the point was to illustrate the issues of a right front end impact, (again, just my guess).

I guess I should be happy my accident, which was not my fault either was on the drivers side, $10,000. damage . Still in shop , 6 weeks so far.

The point of the post - with the way people drive these days, we should all be driving 1970 Apache or F100 pickups! Or just your regular Abrams tank!
