Tonneau cover suggestions?

I bought a 2025 Fird Maverick Tremor Truck and was wondering if anyone knows what type of tonneau cover would I need to put on? Also can I install myself? Thanks

Most of these are self install.
A lot is going to depend upon
Budget $$$-$,$$$
Security= hard or soft cover.
How often you're going to need access to a full open bed= removal.

Welcome to the forum!!! Lots of good info daily along with what's been covered over the years. As info, that search box in the top right is really helpful along with the "similar threads" section at the bottom for your future reference. Glenn provided a good link previously. There's lots of good covers, it's just a big personal preference and personal budget decision. "Hard" covers will provide more security than "Soft" ones. IMO their easy DIY installs as long as you have some basic tools, most come with install instructions and lots of videos online to help guide you. Good Luck!!! oh and we all love to see pictures posted of trucks and outdoor adventures, etc.

You can turn it into a Ford by editing your post.

Like most of this type, it's an easy self install and remove.

What would work best for you will probably vary by how you want to use it and your budget.

I love my tri fold from Ford...when it was on a 24 Maverick it leaked a little but I now have a 26 and the dealership must have installed it better, no leaks. We'll an occasional drip or two

I was satisfied with my Autosaver8 soft cover until I tried to replace one of the six clamps. It uses a unique clamp that I could not find online. I found it impossible to contact a representative from the company and when I finally reached someone from their sister company (OEDRO) they said,
"After checking, we regret to inform you that the clamps are currently out of stock. Additionally, the clamp is not available as a separate replacement item, and we are unable to source this part individually at this time."

Honestly, I think it really depends on what you're looking to get out of a tonneau cover. A cover that's perfect for one person might not be the best fit for someone else.

• What's your budget?
• Are you mainly trying to keep the weather out, or is security/theft protection more important?
• Do you need full bed access often, or is it mostly staying closed?
• Do you prefer a roll-up, folding, or retractable cover?
• Is a low-profile/flush look important to you, or not really?
• Will you be using crossbars or a rack in the future?

Once you narrow those things down, the options become a lot easier because there's really no one-size-fits-all "best" cover. Different priorities usually point to different styles and brands

If you are in Canada I just installed a Bison tonneau trifold hard cover on a 2026 Tremor less than 700$ and installed myself ( 73 years old) in an hour. It is really well built and easy installation and great fit.

I bought a Rough County brand. It's fantastic. Minimal leaks, locking, strong and good looking. I have 2024 Maverick.

Its all about the BUCKS, how much are you willing to spend, I had the Ford tri-fold soft cover on my first maverick it wasn't cheap, it worked and was at that time one of the few sold, when I sold the vehicle, I left it on the truck, when I got the lariat I bought the one listed above 400 for a hard cover that you can walk on to access the roof area, I like this cover so much when I sold that vehicle I removed it and installed it on my Lobo, for me it was a 30 min install, no tools, I filled the 4 seams in the trim on the vehicle with seam sealer just where the cover lays, no leaks, easy install, looks good, for 400 and it came overnight from amazon.
Covers cost from 200 to 1200 to thousands, figure your budget first, for 400 you cant go wrong, as for install its a little heavy to lift on the truck other than that its just clamps to tighten down after its lined up and with any cove go back and tighten after a few weeks when the seals adjust to vehicle.
