Tonneau Advice

Hey friends,

hoping you can give me your two cents to help my tonneau research. Im also reading the other tonneau threads here, but following are my specific needs:
-relatively economic
-easily removable (i want my personal tools protected most of the time but will need to remove it to carry larger, taller items frequently)
-id prefer if it was folding. But its not 100% required

I got the Lomax tri-fold. Very easy to open and close and super easy to remove if needed. No leaks going tru the car wash so far.

I went with TruXedo Pro X15 Soft Roll-Up Tonneau Cover as well. Paid 513.29 from Auto Anything. I'll be installing it today.

i just put the truxedo trusport one on as it was only $300...as others have stated it is about 1/2 to 3/4" too short though....covers bed fine but doesnt seal up in the front ideally..or rear if slid forward...i did not need it to be water/weather tight though so it works fine for me....

I got the Gator soft trifold from real truck I think it is around 275. You just set it on and then flip the clamps in. Pretty easy to take on and off. I ha e mine off cause I needed to carry some stuff that won't fit under cover currently

I went with the extang 2.0 signature series soft tonneau. I have to say it’s awesome and very easy to remove of your need to haul larger items. Here’s a couple of pictures of my Maverick with the tonneau cover. The material is not vinyl. It’s more like hard canvas.

I second that recommendation and if your wanting to protect your tools and other items, personally I would not want a soft cover type that could be cut through with a knife, etc., just my two cents. Hope ya find what you want/like!

Soft roll up covers, when rolled up, can you get a dirt bike up into the box? Or would the front wheel like crush the cover?

Can the Gator flip all the way up against the cab or is it just the first two panels that flip?
