Just did some big mountain descents here in British Columbia and experienced what I would call extreme dangerous sounding over-rev. Was expecting pistons or transmission parts to start blowing out onto the highway. I cannot see how this would be considered normal behavior for a vehicle. Heavy...
Rear traffic alert has probably saved me from crunching a guy in a parking lot, so it's paid for itself already imo.
At first I thought lane keep assist sucked, but then I was driving on a deserted mountain highway in the dark and dropped a precious piece of chocolate on the floor. As I reached...
Congrats! Looks so much better with bikes in and around it, lol. Keep an eye on coolant level, my block heater leaked. I clayed and ceramic mine also, looks sharp, nice wheels. Do you have the holes in belly pan and couple grill shutters removed? Just had that done by dealer
Sounds like they just replaced a defective part with another defective part. That is absolutely unbelievable. There should be a delete kit for this since probably vast majority of people don't even use the damn things.
So 2 weeks for the part? That's brutal, was driving it and topping it up every few days ever explored as an option? I can't go 2 weeks right now, got dirt bike trips planned, ugh
Not sure what you mean, but the big clear plastic overflow tank, front compartment was completely empty. Rear section looked ok which I’m guessing is battery or Ev coolant?
Hopefully it's ok. I'm no expert, but when I put that monitor in my Leaf it shows 14.5v for about 5 minutes then drops to 12.9 and stays there for a long time, occasionally topping up for a few minutes here or there. The Mav always seems to be charging?
I have one of those 12v monitor deals plugged into the lighter socket, it basically shows 14.6v constantly, if I drive for an hour it will eventually drop to 12.8. Seems to me the 12v just ain't charging properly.
Maybe need a dedicated 12V thread. I have a voltage gauge in 12v socket and it seems to be charging way longer than normal? Yesterday I drove about 45 minutes and it was sitting at 14.6v for almost the entire trip, about 5 minutes before arrival it finally dropped to 12.8.
My Leaf will show...
I got pretty lucky. Didn't order til March 1st '22. Figured would be '23 before I saw it. Then I checked Ford website and found a dealer had my same Hybrid truck but in grey not blue. Drove to dealer and drove it home. Had to wait a whole 2.5 months, lol.
