Yes. I think everyone should get the 4K tow even if you don’t plan on using it. The upgrades are worth it.
I think it is extremely useless myself, 4k isn't that much more than 2k in terms of real world use. Plus, they make you pay for copilot premium even though most of the good stuff is standard anyway! All the dealerships are putting it on just to drive prices up, when in reality you get more utility out of the FX4.

My Maverick is the same as yours except for 1 feature. My order is a job #2 order (scheduled for week of 2/10) so I will have the pro trailer assist package.

Please add more pictures! Also could you make a comparison between your 22 and 25 Maverick?

Enjoy your new ride!!
My Lariat has a 2/12 build date. -- I'm passing if there's a DJT tariff. Wish us luck on that.

Pricing for ceramic coat is all over the place. The place i'm getting it done is also vinyl wrapping my bed cap black so it's easier to do it all in one shot. They quoted me 1200 for a 5 year warrantied coat. I think the price is definitely high.
That's a pretty decent price imo. Especially if that includes the wrap. A lot of work is involved.

The 4K towing has a larger radiator and tranny intercooler and lower gearing and trailer brake control. I think it is the top package in the most, ‘Bang for you buck’ category.

I wish I could loose my front license plate holder. What’s the best way to hide the holes in the front valance?

So apparently Ford switched from 315MHz sensors to 433MHz sensor and I just found out last night. My old wheels have 315 sensors and they will not work with the 2025. I removed a sensor from the 25 wheel and compared it to the 315 sensor and they valve stem mounting hole is different shaped so you cannot swap the sensors without swapping valve stems.

I ordered some Autel 315/433 sensors with valve stems and my buddy is going to program them to the truck. Wish I knew about the switch earlier haha.

The left is 315MHZ and the right is 433MHz.

It's been just over two years with my 2022 and it's been great. No issues and it was a great truck. When the refresh was announced I knew I wanted to upgrade from the XLT to a Lariat. The icing on the cake was the Eruption Green paint. I have wanted this color since I saw it on a Bronco. I placed my order on August 1, 2024 and the wait was on.

I checked the tracker often and on January 18th I took delivery. I plan on using this thread to keep track of mods, maintenance and anything else I do with the truck.

I instructed the dealer not to wash the truck or remove any of the stickers from the factory. I also told them not to install the front plate bracket. The truck is getting ceramic coated next week.

Even if the tariff went into effect today, your Maverick will not be affected. You are price protected! :)

That's a dang nice upgrade although after having seen my first Eruption Maverick in person I prefer the HPR. The Bronco Sport colors all have a darker tint coat that seems to just add a little depth and it makes me prefer Eruption on the BS but that's just personal tastes.

I changed the stock tires on my '22 Fx4 to Discoverer Road + trail and I get compliments all the time about how nice the more aggressive tires look.
I'm looking at those tires, how long have you had them? Have you done any snow or rain driving with them?

You've got to be kidding. Nothing like that will ever happen that fast. Probably won't ever happen. Relax.

I got the tires about a year ago. Really like them. Quiet on the road and when driving thru the snow and slush we got here in Kentucky it handled it no problem. We had 11” of snow and the freezing rain. I went out the next day. The main road was slushy and partially cleared. The neighborhood roads were snow and icy in places. No problems with the tires or the truck.
they have great wet traction too. I haven’t lost traction even in a downpour
