tire recommendation for my 2022 XLT hybrid,

Want a all around tire for my 2022 XLT hybrid.
I pull a small boat , the ramps I use can be steep and slippery.
We can get snow in winter.
I did order a 2025 awd hybrid, but decided to pass on it.
So I’m going to do some upgrades to my 2022 instead.

I have Nokian WR-G4s (also all weather), but only because when I made the swap the CC2 was sold out. The Nokian, IMO, is an inferior tire, and the price difference reflects it. I had CC on a previous vehicle, the difference between the two is noticeable.

Personally, I'm sold on a separate summer and winter set. I like the OE tire(s) CPC TX or Mich Primacy for the summer set. I have mich xice for the winter on steel wheels. If you want something with more grip in summer, maybe check out the Continental CrossContact ATR. I like the lightweight summer tires and that's one of them.

For sure. What you need really depends on how much snow fall your area gets, looks like you are back east where regular snow fall is the norm. In the PNW, like the OP, we get more rain than snow, so having full snow tires is not really needed most winters. At least that is the case on the coast anyway, and that's where the all weather (not all season) tires shine. Good enough for snow and ice, while still fuel efficient enough to use all year. The best part is not needing to store a separate set, which saves on storage fees if you don't have somewhere to keep them at home.

You need a really good 4-season tire to deal with seaweed on the ramp. Look for one with the 1-peak rating for ice traction. Don't get an offroad tire, as they have less rubber on the ground than the OEM tire. Don't get a wider tire than stock, as the pressure on the track is lower and will not cut through to the hard surface as well as the stock width. Maybe get studded tires if your province/state allows them and you can handle the road noise.

I tow a small camper, and could occasionally use 4WD, but since I only have FWD I thought I'd put some more capable tires on.

6,000 Miles ago I put Firestone Destination A/T2s on mine (a mild all terrain) in stock 225 size.

So far I'm liking these a lot, definitely recommended if you are looking for much better traction off-road, but what truly surprised me is the better on-road handling vs. the stock Michelin all-seasons.

Plus the Destination A/T2s are three peak snow rated.

Fuel economy dropped slightly, less than 5% (about 2mpg), well worth it in my opinion.

No tire noise to speak of.

I recently put Nokian Remedy WRG5 on my 23 Hybrid. Stock oem size 225 65 R17. I got a chance to drive in quite a bit of snow in Vermont. I was very impressed with how both the FWD hybrid and the tires performed. I am also impressed with wet and dry road performance and how quite they are.

They are all weather 3 peak rated, made for electric vehicles, and low resistance rolling. Also just a couple of pounds more than the stock Continentals.

I encounter mud sometimes on the dirt roads that I travel and live on. I went with these as opposed to the CC2's for this reason. I have also had good luck with other style Nokian tires and so far can recommend them.

Wish me luck. Being on a fixed income, I tried some $85 tires from Wallyworld-
Crossmax CHTS-1 Highway 225/65R17 102H SUV/Crossover Tires @$85 each. They have a great all-weather tread and low rolling resistance. I'm a little nervous about their tread life, but four were $367 installed with free rotation.
