Time between order and 1st email

How long before you place your order with the dealership until you got the order accepted email from ford? I placed an order for an XL 2.0 awd 4k with bed liner, bed cover, and inverter on Jan 5th. No email yet from Ford.

If it is a smaller dealer, they may only submit orders a couple of times a week. Given it is just after the holidays I would give them a day or two longer before following up. With that said, many receive the email while at the dealer, or shortly afterwards - it just depends on their process.

1 to 2 hours after I put my online/text order to Chapman.

I had to harass my dealer until I got the email. Took 2 weeks.

Thanks for the replies. They took the deposit the next day but it will be a week soon with nothing. They aren't a big dealer BUT They did have 2 broncos just for demos

You wont get any emails from Ford if the dealership used their email instead of yours. If that’s the case you are relying on all communications from your dealer.

They asked me for my email and I told them I want communication directly from ford

Got my order confirmation email before the sales rep was back with all the documents, 5 mins. was surprised.

If you have not received a confirmation email from Ford on your order it’s possible they incorrectly put in your email address or your order wasn’t correctly ordered.

Some dealerships screwed up hybrid orders by not getting the correct documents in time thus missing the 11/17 cut off date.
