I don't think this is how it works. My dealer will not install it and told me I'd need Forscan to do it. Unless someone who has Forscan does it we're in the dark.
Found a fellow maverick today. Helped him change his bed light with the spares I had. Left is my hybrid and right is his EB. Funny enough he lives 3 blocks from me.
I had this happen Twice. I had left the bed light on and it sent me that error on fordpass and turned the light off automatically. The second time was when I accidentally left my headlight on for a few hours. Got the same message but did not automatically turn it off. Hasn't happened since.
Then why does it say I can keep driving it when my cat is glowing red and my heat shield is warping. I'm sure you are fine with your car being damaged as long as Ford says it's ok.
That update will prevent it from happening after it is released. But Ford is not doing anything to correct the damage. Infact they claim there's no damage. According to them catalytic converter glowing and the shield and potentially the cat melting is normal. Any mechanic would know it's not.
I'm guessing this happened when I remote started. Got an appointment with my dealer 4 weeks from now. I'm hearing Ford is doing nothing about it. I bought a brand new vehicle. Ford fix your s***
Edit: The shield could be like this from the factory, I apologize for that. However, the glowing cat...
Did anyone figure out how to program the wireless entry keypad for the XL trim? My dealer won't do it.
I'm talking about this one
