Not sure how strong the paint sprayer head would be. I have a spray head just like that on my gun and it is VERY lightweight material. A "pot" metal maybe? Not sure you could really put a lot of confidence in that when using a lot of force.

Now I only carry straps for use on my trailer. I got these kind on my roof rack too. Life is good.

Exactly the same thing I did. They work GREAT and are inexpensive.

Mike
So you are saying they work inside the track? If not, you are posting in a thread about utilizing the track.

I used these for my sliding rails. You have to modify them a bit to get them to fit but they look like they belong on the truck.

Thanks for that.
I agree they look good.
Aluminum. And black like the stock ones.

I ordered a set.

I have the same ones. Die grinder to the edges and they fit perfect. When i get time I will hunt for the correct size thumb screws to replace the bolts

IMHO simple anchor points would work better. I don't have the sliding rails, so just bolted 8 of them to the rail mounting points. But the rails could hold many more.

Please provide link to anchor points. Thanks

Did you have to do anything special to get the bolts to fit in the pre drilled holes or was it already threaded?
The eight holes are pre-threaded. A 5mm hex wrench is needed for the bolts in the link I shared.

I provided links to both the anchors and the bolts in my previous response. I'm not clear on what other link you're requesting.

The eye bolts screwed in by hand. Tightened then with a screwdriver thru the eye bolt part. Pretty hi-tech.

@BoskoPColtrane

Thanks again. Mine came fast. Look great. Easy to install.

I'm paying it forward with another tip for the next person. While you have your grinder out, grind the included wrench a little narrower. The wrench is a snug fit that only allows about 1/6 turn at a time. With a slightly narrower wrench, you can turn the bolt 1/3 rev at a time.

The "wrench" is adequate and will be the weakest link to prevent over torque on the bolt.

I like it already! Will use the tie downs tomorrow.

Make the wrench less wide at the end:
