Did you know you can only ignore 1,000 threads, don't ask me how I know. ;)
Lifting my truck. No, lowering it.
2,214 ideas for dash cubby.
Rewiring my entire truck and Ford better honor my warranty if something goes wrong.
Contact @fordvideoguy. Tim can fix ANYTHING. He knows answer to EVERYTHING.
I am not paying $60.00 above MSRP, even if it is exactly what I want and the only one in 1,000 mi.
I did a similar thing to my 1987 Yokasuka,so I am sure it will work on the Maverick.
Mine was built yesterday, why can’t I change something.
I hauled two Walmart beads in my bed. Well, I hauled 3 bags so I beat you.
Waiting for this one - Why doesn’t Ford install a video camera on the train with live feed so I can see mine?
I don’t have room in my doors and behind seat to install my 24 x 48”speakers.
My Taco, Colorado, Nissan, etc is much better. Well, why did you buy a Maverick, then?
I am turning my XL into a Lariat with aftermarket items. I can do it for less than $22,000.
Wow, with Forscan I can now get something on the dash that tells me what variety of tree I just passed.
My favorite. Now I can play video games, watch movies, etc. Next thread. Just saw a Mav crash ahead.

How long will my Maverick be in that train yard in Chicago? / Waiting 647 days...

General questions that are easily looked up in the owner's manual.

Not meant to be mean, just observing back on the last year or so of my favorite recurring threads. These are the ones that make me roll my eyes every time. Please add your own favorites (threads you see again and again but wish you didn't).

  • Ford is criminally liable because I don't have my truck yet. I'm gonna sue them.
  • I'm terminally indecisive, so please help me make up my mind about (insert something here)
  • You suck. No you suck. No you suck...
  • The Santa Cruz sucks.
  • Hyundai sucks.
  • Ford sucks.
  • My dealer sucks.
  • My Maverick arrived today. I wet my pants in excitement. I deleted this one, because it was snarky of me. Heck, I posted my own thread like this after I wet my own pants in excitement. Smelled up the house for a week.
  • Because I bought a hybrid, I am obviously of a higher order of intelligence than all other car buyers on the planet.
  • The Maverick is the most perfect car ever built. No it isn't. Yes it is. You suck. No you suck. No you suck.
What did I miss?
Jeepers, folks are coming to this dedicated forum for help with an issue they feel important regarding their new or soon to be new truck and snarky criticism is what is offered in this thread? Perhaps no one has mentioned to you that you are free to simply scroll on past posts you find to be of less value or repetitive in nature to y standard, whatever they happen to be……..🤔

What grade of gas should I use?
What grade of oil should I use?
What filter should I use?
There's too many to list! 😁

May be a bit old, but

“where is my free fits kit?”
Damn right. I ordered at end of October so since I've only waited 470 days and not 495 I do not get one.

I figured the constraint/scheduling threads would at least get an honorable mention. WTH am I even doing here?

My hybrid may not get built. I should get a free Ecoboost instead.

I’m fine with all them but:

“Because I bought a hybrid, I am obviously of a higher order of intelligence than all other car buyers on the planet.”

Not “all… on the planet”, just those that bought an Eco-Boost!

JK!

Not posted but analyzed from many posts:
I couldn't afford my Maverick so I am making high payments on it and am investing several thousand dollars to add a bunch of stereo stuff and other options that I also can not afford. (It's the bank's money and I'll spend it any way I want!) The kids can eat peanut butter on bread instead of hamburgers for a while.
