I try not to post negative thoughts. But the Santa Cruz is butt ugly.

I really enjoyed the concept art for the SC, but the realized front end is not my vibe.

What the SC Fanboys fail to mention with their comparisons is the difference between driving a Ford Truck and anything else...it's a Ford Truck! Ford invented the pickup truck and set the standard in this category of vehicle. I play a Martin guitar and drive a Ford pickup truck; they can have the rest.

I agree, except I play a Guild 12 string, Leo Kotke slide stuff.

Saw a Santa Cruz at a dealer when we took my wife's Kona in for servicing. Was very nice looking but did not feel at all like a truck, which is why I chose the Ford Maverick.
