The minimum speed on Colorado Interstates is 40 MPH. Here is a sign from the Denver area.

Across the Nation, the most common sign, in states that choose to post minimum speed signs is 40 mph.
Some post 45 mph.
And very rarely 55 mph. (I'm guessing TX).

Here's your sign....

Yup! And in paragraph 1 was an area where the law was changed. In other words, while there isn’t always a posted minimum speed, drivers are expected to maintain a speed that keeps up with the flow of traffic. The "flow of trafffic" can be 70-80 mph at times, even in the downtown corridor. Drive 10 less than that traffic doing 80, you are impeding and could get you a citation. Just saying folks need to know about how it works. Caveat Emptor. I do agree with paragraph 3, for those wanting to go slow and easy, please, move to the left!

Liars don't necessarily feel bound by scientific accuracy.
That may well be true, however in the episode I saw, the guy clearly didn't have a clue.

You mean the left lane.
I'd argue no one doing at least 40 mph can be cited in the right lane in Colorado.

No one. NO ONE is going to encourage, nor require any RV to go 70 mph or 80 mph in the right lane. And they should, by nature, if not a requirement, stay out of the left lane.

This is such a non-issue.

Yes they ā€œdoā€ teach that in truck driving school. Training here needs to be for non-commercial vehicles. I like thinking my Maverick is a truck but driving it like a Semi is pushing boundries:teehee:
Also total agreement with @MaverickDragon about cruise control and hills.
The Maverick is considered a commercial vehicle in some states.
You don't need a CDL, but if it has an open bed, not permanently enclosed, it is commercial by definition. I have commercial plates on my Maverick.

You'd be wrong in Florida. Minimum interstate speed is 45 mph.
A) was speaking of CO
B) I stated some states have 45 minimums and a couple; 55.

Yup, i forgot about that. I had a van in PA in the 80s and I had to get ā€œhousecarā€ plates. Huh? I guess I could have lived in a van ā€œdown by the riverā€.

That was Chris Farley at his finest.
That could have been Davis Spade and Christina Applegate's most difficult performance - just to keep a straight face. For those who haven't seen it - Here it is..
