Made the mistake of driving to Ford grapevine. Asked for a XLT hybrid with lux. They said 2500 over MSRP plus mandatory 950 dealer add on.
I left and emailed five star Ford Carrollton..
Super nice to work with, got my reservation in with 0 deposit at priority 15. For MSRP and no dealer add on. And the best part, all done online!!

The Maverick will be my third orange vehicle. My other orange vehicles were a 2000 Mazda MX-5 Miata and a 2003 Nissan 350Z. It's been my favorite color since I was a kid.

Who did you talk to at Grapevine? I'm paying straight MSRP for my Lariat Lux through them

I prefer not to use names.They said 999 dealer add on plus 2500 above MSRP. I got them down to MSRP but they were Adamant on the dealer add-ons. I was trying to see if i could get at least Invoice price, and they told me they didn't even know what's the invoice on it..
I was not happy with it, so they gave me their business card and basically told me to leave... I was pissed, not sure if it's representative of the full dealership.

In Justin, TX. Got the XLT in Velocity Blue with 360 and Lux. Still cheaper than trying to find a solid used truck. The tech, low price and MPG got me hooked. Working with Sam Pack's Five Star Ford in Lewisville. Gotten two emails, a bot and a person. That was on Saturday 08/14. Still waiting to hear back from their "Maverick Specialist". Not sure how long I should wait for a response or reach back out. Total new guy when ordering/reservation online. Any ideas on what my next step should be?

try calling the dealer in Carrolton. They can help you out over the phone. Ask for MSRP and no dealer add-ons, they seem to be doing that for everybody.

Hi everyone. I'm in Fort worth and have a XLT lux in velocity blue with 2.0,360,FX4,4k tow schedule for October 11 build. Ordered mine from autonation south Fort worth and had no issues with them. Will be using the Xplan. It would not let me input XLT in my about.

I'm in austin and have an order in for a cactus grey XLT lux FX4, 4k, 360 scheduled for build the week of 10/4. I ordered with Johnson Sewell Ford in Marble Falls after a really terrible experience with Maxwell Ford, who's pretty much in my backyard.

my build was scheduled a mere six days after I ordered. super impressed with the process so far, especially as compared to my bronco order!

What kind of deal did you get with Sewell? I meant to check with Sewell Ford in Odessa, but ended up going with Granger.

Bronco order as well here, I think I'm going to push it to MY23.

What happened with maxwell? I bought my f150 there and had a great experience with my sales rep. I’ve placed my maverick order through him as well. But I’ve heard a number of people complain about maxwell and am wondering if my experience was the exception to the rule now.
