I like it too, but too pricey for me, and I'd have concerns about driving it on icy roads! The driver would be the last to know of a skid.
They should have put an 8ft bed on it. As Red Green used to say "If they don't find you handsome, make sure they find you handy!"

Marines it was bought used from surplus . 4 doors with a short box with the metal cab high cover . being that it was a diesel with the air cleaner behind the front seat it was load inside

It's going to be just about as safe as your Maverick.

Because while it looks like you've got all that space in front of you on a Mav, you've also got an engine in there filling it. The Telo has the same amount of crumple zone as most vehicles, it just doesn't look like it because you're used to looking at ICE vehicles.

I love Kei trucks.
The Telo EV Pickup is essentially a US market EV Kei Truck.

I think it's an awesome practical idea.... BUT I doubt it'll work out well.
1. Price - You can get a lot more vehicle for 40k+
2. Form Factor - North Americans like bigger vehicles. We have big roads, fast speeds, and like bigger cars to haul stuff INSIDE them. With the higher speeds and bigger cars, we also get bigger accidents. Safety is also a concern for a lot of people which doesn't work out well for the Telo.
