Cactus looks too minty for my taste. Carb matches the xlt wheels.

I think the Cactus looks awesome on the Bronco Sport with all of the black accents it has all over it. It's just a little too minty for me personally and I think it would look a little too pastel on a Maverick. I think I'd enjoy it at first but get sick of it after awhile. That's why I ordered Carbonized Gray.

Cactus grey area 51 or carbonized grey????

I know its been beaten to death. I been searching all day YouTube videos and pictures.

All my local dealers do not have any of these colors in stock.

Every video or picture makes these colors look different.

What are your thoughts? Leaning towards area 51.
I was torn between those 2 and went with Iconic Silver LOL.

Area 51 is exactly between like and dislike for me but I never saw it in person. I'd recommend going to different dealers and seeing if they have carbonized grey and cactus grey cars hanging around. I thought cactus grey looked a lot better on the bronco sport than the Mav but the cactus has grown on me a little. Both cactus grey and area51 I think look a little lackluster in comparison to the metallic colors.

I would never have gotten silver in a million years except I saw an iconic silver maverick at the dealer and really liked the color a lot. It has a blue hue to it almost that makes it a bit more interesting but also silver is a little bit more dynamic than a grey to me.

I'm still torn between what I have and alto vs cyber

I originally ordered Cactus but switched to Carbonized. In some lights the Cactus looks amazing and in other lights I never liked the minty look.

Carbonized has metallic flecks in the paint which will help with not seeing scratches as easily and with a bright silver wheel from the XL, the contrast in color is more my taste.

Cactus Gray caught my eye first. Then the more I looked at it the more I fell out of love with the color. I see a Bronco Sport pass by me daily going to work. It looks fine. Like many said before, it can change color depending on lighting and I guarantee taking a picture of it accurately is impossible. I ultimately chose Carbonized Grey because the plastic along the bottom and back bumper blends in better imo.

I think the Bronco (either one sport or regular) looks better in area 51, and the maverick looks better in cactus grey just my opinion though.

I've had my Cactus Maverick for a month now. The Mint comments need to be put to bed.

Not Once have I looked at it and thought it had even a hint of Green. The green everyone is seeing is being picked up based on the photo's surroundings coupled with poor camera phone white-balancing.

Maybe if I parked on my lawn it would pick up a tinge of green. I just haven't seen it, and wouldn't ever do that because I have a driveway and a garage.

That said, I would have equally been happy with A51 - but only with the FX4 package. Both of these colors do need contrast - the blacked out wheelset add enough to make Cactus and A51 really pop.

No mavs at my dealer to compare colors but there were F-150s in mostly the same color availability. Here are pics I took of a F-150 in Carb. like Cactus, it is another camelion color because it is kind of boring grey in dull light but looks like a more expensive paint job in the sun with its gold metallic specs. The XLT wheels look better with Carb because the wheels look almost like an exact color match.

Cactus looks off with those wheels, it needs black ones to look good. But remember with the FX4 black wheels, you lose sport and eco modes on a 250 hp engine. I do not think being left with only normal drive mode for the highway is good trade for the once in a while you may want to try out mud or sand.

Here are examples of a couple of Rangers in Cactus. Like the Carb, its a camelion color that looks lighter in bright sun. I like the color much better when it looks darker like in the overcast photo. Too bad Ford did not make this a couple of shades darker to begin with because that would have been my choice. In bright sun, the gold metallic of carb looks very rich and elegant but the green of non-metallic cactus can have a mint hue.
Comparing wheels I think this shows chrome just does not go, the black ones look much better.
